We bought these combs for use with the shoebox ministry. They feel good and are durable. Being 5 inches so they should work with any size hand. I have used one of them for over a week and I have had noe problem with it. Good product at a good price.

I bought combs. I bought 240 combs. I bought 240 combs! Why? That's a lot of combs. Why did I buy 240 combs? Because my oldest son was in Kindergarten and it was coming up on his 100th day of school. They do this little thing where they decorate a shirt with 100 things and wear it to school. I was looking for party favors for my other son's birthday party, and I ran across 240 combs for $8. So the crazy fun sense of humor inside of me buys 240 combs thinking I'm going to attach 100 of these to a shirt. How awesome would that be? Ok, maybe awesome is the wrong word... How crazy would that look? Pretty crazy and that is awesome. So 240 combs arrive at my door a few days later, and you know what I did? I told my wife my plan. You know what I did wrong? I told my wife my plan.He went to school a few days later with 100 stickers on his shirt... falling off here and there through out the day. Not crazy. Not fun. Not awesome. Now I have 240 combs. I have 1200 inches of combs. I have 100 feet of combs. I have 33.3 yards of combs.

Now, I don't have a lot of hair left. But what little hair I do I have, I expect to do as it's told. Like many men, I tend to lose combs, or my wife steals them, and I end up buying more. Eventually, the day comes when I clean the couch, and end up with about a dozen more than I need, for about a month... Anyway, I bought these so I will never have to look for or buy combs again, but I did have concerns bout the quality. Once they arrived, my concerns are alienated. These are not the hardest, nor the softest combs that I have bought. They are completely fine for my purposes. The are the same size that I usually use (just small enough to fit in a back pocket). By the way, yes, it is actually 240 combs. I haven't tried them all yet, and I may never do so, as I may be bald before I get through the first dozen. When the box showed up, I told my wife that they were less than $1 each, and she looked at me with a very cold stare...

I am always losing combs, as I like to carry one in my trousers pocket. Replacing them has cost me a lot over the years. These combs are good, definitely not more than that, but this lifetime supply is such an amazing value it's hard to beat. They are not brittle plastic, but bendable, so the tines don't break. They are a little smaller than I am used to, and also a little thinner, but they so their job well. I recommend them to someone who is always losing combs or to organizations that have to give out hundreds of combs! For comb connoisseurs I suggest something else.

I read all of the dreadful reviews of these combs -- FULLY EXPECTING there to be some kind of a defect with the fine-toothed half of the comb, expecting them to be so incredibly close together as to render them useless AND/OR expecting them to be stuck together or worse. However, because of the ridiculously low price, I decided to buy them anyway -- at least, I thought, I can use the wide-end of the comb. To my utter surprise, these relatively small (& and thus very easy to carry) combs are perfect in every way! I use the fine-toothed end of the comb, holding the other end as a handle and find that these combs work fine!!!!! What's with all the bad reviews?????? I will never run out of combs again, and I have given little boxes (12 combs in a box!!!) to astounded friends all of whom initially laugh when I explain how I came upon this utter fortune of combs, then thank me profusely. Go for it!!! You will never need to buy a comb again!!!

I got this as a gift for my bf because he's always stealing y combs and I've had to replace so many. It was more of a funny gift, but it ended up being super useful. The only downside is that you won't get the long combs as shown in the photo. The ones I got were the tiny pocket size combs in a square box, nut that rectangle.Had I gotten the long combs I would have given this a 5

I am used to paying about $0.75 for a comb. Now the store only carries pocket combs for $1.50-2.50 per comb. I don't want to pay that when I know that I will lose it soon. So... I checked Amazon. Saw a picture for a box of 12 combs for $7 and without reading the fine print I figured out that it would be a good deal. When the order came, my combs were in a larger box - which contained 16 boxes of 12 combs!!!!!!!! A much, much better deal than the store.It should be noted that the teeth of the combs are a little smaller than the "standard" cheap pocket comb. These are 4.5" long vs. 5". The teeth are about 1/8" shorter than the others. These are also much more flexible. Hey, the comb my hair and I don't have to worry about losing them!

From all the great reviews, I was looking forward to receiving these combs. What a disappointment. I know they are inexpensive, but what's up with all these great reviews. I find these combs almost worthless. The half side of the comb that has the fine teeth, has the teeth so close together, the hair will not go through them. As for the other side, it's better, but the comb is so thin that is folds as you are passing it through your hair. Maybe I got a bad batch ( lot # 29531). Yes they are unbreakable.
