So far so good! Got it today and put it together, and put the hanging files on (that I ordered separately, these are not included). It was simple to put together, and the instructions were clear! It's is sturdy, though the metal that the bars you hang your files on are made of isn't super strong, meaning I wouldn't put huge packs of papers in each file. Don't get me wrong, this is sturdy for what it is. But it is not meant to replace a filing cabinet. Though it's a great addition to it! It will serve its purpose and be perfect for what we need in our home! And I am excited put it to use.

I'm so pleased with this cart. This is everything it claims to be and better. It is quick and easy to assemble, and standard U.S. hanging file folders (letter size) fit nicely. The whole thing is a smooth glossy black, and the hanging files and baskets slide smoothly. It seems that the problems described by a couple of other reviewers must be for a different model. This is quite sturdy, and there are no screws to deal with. It just taps together with a rubber mallet (I used a hammer and a sheet of rubber to protect the paint). They even provide a little wrench to tighten the nuts on the casters. The shipping was as fast as Amazon Prime - less than two days. I may buy another!This is, by the way, a great organizing solution for those who are easily distracted and struggle to keep up with filing. You don't need to open a drawer or lift a lid, just drop your papers into the appropriate file or basket. Then the files are right in view for quick and easy retrieval. I think it is just the sort of solution Susan Pinsky describes in her helpful book, Organizing Solutions for People with ADHD. If the system is easy to access and use, you are far more likely to keep up with it.

I literally have been going through so many file carts to find exactly what I wanted and came across this one! My only regret is that I didn't find this sooner. It is the perfect size for my space. I love the compact solid construction. I love the drawers! I am beyond thrilled and over the moon. Thankful for Amazon and their return policy for all the other file carts! This is the best! I feel like the Princess and the Pea storyline - nothing worked until I found this file cart! For the price, quality, and workmanship and how the files fit! I love and appreciate it so much! Thrilled and had to write a review. I must have gone through like six file carts and this is the one! The best for me at least! Thank you Amazon and Amazon Seller!

This is the worst item that I've ever purchased from Amazon. This arrived in fine order on time but what was inside the box wasn't as sturdy as the box that it came in. I'm not sure you could call it metal. The rails for the drawers were stamped on and had separated on one end and had to be pop riveted back in place. I'm sure that everyone that orders this has a pop rivet in the kitchen drawer. The hanging files don't slide easily on the flimsy rails. Completely dissatisfied with the product! Again if possible this would get negative star rating. Look elsewhere for your office needs.

Got this to organize some of my loose sketches and drawings, and it was pretty easy to assemble. After having nearly filled the rack with folders, one of the hanging crossbars holding the folders collapsed. I looked closer and noticed they were only attached with three small rivet-like indentations pressing against the vertical beams, and maybe a little bit of very light welding it seemed like. Rather than return it, I fixed it by drilling screws to all four attach points to ensure none of them would come off again. But that, however, didn't solve everything. The bar that fell off, and what the folders hang and slide on, are flat and have a fairly jagged outer edge. So sliding file folders scrape EVERY time. If they were rounded they'd be much smoother, but instead they lie flush with the plastic file hook racks, creating a lot of useless, annoying friction, forcing you to pry the folders open with each use. At first, I thought maybe my folders had too much paper in them weighing them down, but even with an empty folder the hooks still scrape. So, imagine having to constantly scrape folders open every time you need to do some organizing. It's more annoying than convenient, and definitely not efficient. It's a shame to, because the racks on the bottom work great, sliding easily, and are very useful. It almost makes me want to add another star to this review, but, ultimately, this is a file rack and should function well like one. It's very nice to look at, and quite compact, but they seemed to have favored a pleasing form over actual function. I'll most likely end up getting the Alera single-tier rolling cart, or something similar in size. It has rounded hanging bars, so the folders should glide smoothly. Not as nice looking as this file cabinet, but I'll take function over form any day when it comes to making work easier.

This cart is pretty much what I expected; it's not absolutely indestructable (side rails will bend if you're not careful), but it's functional enough and works great as our mail/bill system in our living room. It was very easy to put together and arrived in good condition as well. It's as expected; not super solid, but for the price it's "good enough" quality.

I was a bit skeptical when I received my package because it was a bit small. But I read some of the reviews from other buyers so I remained positive. This item was very easy to assemble & I immediately put it to work! This is very handy and makes accessing my files very convenient. I’m glad I did t order this item at any other big store brand because it was listed at $89 to $112 plus a two week wait! Save yourself money & but this item here in Amazon!
