Big improvement over original tuners
The tuners fit perfectly into a 1997 Les Paul Standard without having to modify the guitar headstock in any way. It was an easy install. The guitar now stays in tune much better than before and the chrome tuners look better that the original matte gray tuners. It also makes strings easier to replace since they don't need much wrapping around the tuner post.

Great locking tuners
Direct replacement for my Gibson SG. High quality, quick installation, works as expected. Price was a bit high in my opinion.

Fits 2009 Gibson SG. Use the factory screws
Fit perfectly on my 2009 Gibson SG Standard. Nice upgrade to the factory tuners. The keys don’t look like the picture which is great. You can’t see through them. Easy to install. I had to reuse the factory screws. They seem to hold tune well but, I installed new strings at the same time so I’m sure everything will take a minute to totally settle in.

Very smooth subtle adjustments
I have tried the other brands that fall in the $30-40 range, I actually have some on my SG that I’m here to replace with these Klusons because I recently put these on my Heritage H-150, which is a recent addition that I love, it’s my number one, the tuning machines on it are fantastic but not lockers and I love having this feature with how often I change strings! I didn’t want to put low quality off brand tuners on it, so I choose Kluson because of the name alone. I’m so happy I did, they are amazing! Totally worth the money! You're not just buying the name.No matter the string size and amount of tension they turn with the same resistance. They are very well built, polish to a nice shine and appearance and show well! The holes for mounting line up with Grover so if you’re replacing you won’t have to drill unless you want to use both holes (I opt to use just one hole)Welp, I’m gonna go throw these in my cart and get em today yet!Hope this help you guys if you were on the fence :)

They’re Great on my Traditional Lester
Compared to the original vintage Gibson deluxe pearloid tuners, it was like night and day. I highly recommend investigating their purchase, if your patience is running thin. But as you might expect, they are heavier than the stock tuners and could lead to neck dive on a guitar like the Gibson SG. The switch is easy and is reversible if you decide to sell your guitar. They also are of fantastic quality and look great that maintains the vintage vibe.

great tuners
With being locking and a better gear ratio, these tuners were definitely an upgrade on my Les Paul. They fit perfectly, easy to install, and look great. String changing has also become easier as you will not have to wind your strings. My guitar stays in tune better as well. Definitely a n upgrade worth the money

Too short?
The pegs on these locking tuners are very short compared to my gibson Sg. So their is a sharper break over the nut to these tuners. Nuts that screw onto the top of the peg and washers look cheaply made and not polished or beveled like the original gibson. But locking tuners work fine. Easy setup.

These made a huge difference in looks and function, but not on the guitar I purchased them for..
Not much has to be said about Kluson machine heads, their quality is well established, but i was not familiar with the locking version. I am now a huge fan. I ordered them for my 2000 Gibson LP 1960s Classic WHICH THEY WILL NOT WORK ON..... but I have a 89 MIK Sheraton that they were perfect for. It made such a difference in the looks and function that I'm glad they didn't work on the LP (which already has Gibson's version of them, only not the locking variety). It gave that old Sheraton a very noticable facelift that I didn't expect. A $100 item gave it $500 worth of appeal. As far as function and serviceability they're everything Kluson machine heads should be. Perfect ratio, smooth movement, and they make string changes SOOOOOO much easier. No slippage or string movement. I can't recommend them enough.
