EasyFirePits CK Kit Basic DIY Build Your Own Propane Fire Pit Kit w/o Burner (Ring Burner, 18.00)

My wife and I bought this kit to convert a wood firepit table we have to a gas firepit table. The instructions were very clear, and everything was well labeled. The parts all seem to be very high quality, especially the gas ring burner, which is a high grade steel. I feel like it will last many years.It took us less than 15 minutes do to the entire install, and it worked perfectly the first time, with no further adjustment needed! We put crushed rock over it, so the flames come out of the stone, and it looks amazing.I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to make a gas firepit. There are a lot of places to buy the individual components, but this removes all the hassle and includes everything you need except the propane tank. Also, the price was better than anything else out there.One note, incase anyone isn't familiar with propane tanks/valves: The regulator fits IN the end of the propane tank, not around the outside. We bought a standard propane tank like you'd use for a grill (Benzomatic) at Lowes, got it filled, then attached the kit. For a grill, your hoses usually screw on around the outside of the fitting on the tank. This kit fits on the inside of the valve (just like how the filler stations attach to the tank. If you look closely on a normal propane tank, the outside is threaded with big thick threads, and the inside is threaded with smaller threads. It's these inside threads that the regulator attaches to.Lastly, the other reviewer dinged this because the fire died down after a little time of burning. The seller CLEARLY explains in their documentation why that happens, and how to fix it. We did what they said and had no issues at all. We're really happy with how solidly made the kit is, and will likely be buying a larger one for a stone firepit we want to build.Happy all around, and am very impressed with the company (shipped it very fast, we got it 2 days early with free shipping), and the look of the kit.

Great product made with highest quality material combined with plain and easy to follow instructions for installation and use. My only concern is that there is not an air mixer valve. While I understand the product is designed for use as packaged, the flame it produces is on the orange (cool) side of the spectrum as opposed to the blue (hot) side. As such, the flame does cover my light colored fire glass with black soot. The flame itself isn't that smokey and burns fine, but I'm still left wondering if an air mix valve would be an improvement. However, my installation is covered in pea gravel in the burner/pit end and I really don't know if you can install an air mix valve on the propane tank end. I think a number of people are wondering about this one issue, but the company's response is simply "the product is good to go as is" instead of providing more options moving forward with an additional air mix valve.

The media could not be loaded. This kit could not be any easier to install. It literally took me 15 minutes from beginning to firing it up. The hardest thing was finding a 1-inch drill bit to make the hole. I installed the hardware, covered the 36-inch firepit with lava rocks and lit it. In addition, I ordered a 24-inch ring, and I did not feel right about it, so I reached out to the vendor. The vendor agreed that the 24 inch was too big for a 36-inch pit and would also burn more propane. He then swapped it out for the 18-inch ring and refunded me the difference. Support is fantastic.

so great! We have a patio set that has a table with a firepit under a large metal grate in the center of table.. You can take the grate off and burn wood in the center of the table. I did not want to fuss with the mess of that, so I bought this kit and went to my local big box and bought a propane tank. In less than 15 min using nothing extra except a wrench and a drill with 1" drill bit, we were enjoying flame. We also bought a bag of lava rock and a small bag of firepit glass. It was so easy and the instructions were the best! Nothing to guess at. The kit comes with everything except the tools I mentioned and the added rock and glass. These just make the fire look nice, but you don't need these. Very well thought out. I am a handy person, but someone who is a typical homeowner could do this with ease A+++++ Great job to the company. Wish all the items I buy are this well made and so easy to use.

Having already made My First Interactive Fire Sculpture from scratch a couple years ago,this was a great kit to use to put a fire-pit together in just an hour... once all the materials are assembled.I mounted my fire ring into a rustic wheelbarrow and then (surrounded with filler brick and) covered with Firepit Glass.Worked great. Fun!

Got it in time for my party and then it rained. Oh well, you can't win them all. However, I put this together in less than a day with tons of breaks cuz it was super hot outside. Working fabulously!! Well worth the money I spent, however I did have to buy a longer pipe nipple but only cuz I wanted it to go deeper into the pit. Love my propane fire pit !!!

Very good product, easy to assemble and gives off large flame, looks real! I am using it for an outdoor fire pit. One word of caution, make sure you read the instructions especially on venting your fire pit. This is good quality stainless and should last a long time. I would recommend this product.

Easy to install. I have a paver patio with a matching ring fire pit made out of the same pavers. I put a few cinder blocks at the base of the pit and cut 2 circles of 1/2 inch hardibacker cement board and drilled a 1" hole in the middle. easy to do. I purchased lava rock from Lowes and it looks and works great.
