Fresh product, not old, stale one.
These were the freshest Pontefract cakes I have ever purchased. They do not seem to have been sitting in a warehouse for ages, like ones I have purchased elsewhere (not on Amazon.) Great stuff!

Not Haribo Pontefract
Very disappointed. This is not the Haribo Pontefract with which I am familiar and have been enjoying for years. This product tastes medicinal and not at all like licorice

NOOT BAD LICORISE...
BOUGHT THESE BECAUSE OF HISTORICAL CONTEXT. THEY ARE AS ADVERTISED EVEN IF PLANT TAKEN OVER BY GERMAN GIANT. SADLY THE WORLD IS BEING TAKEN OVER BY MEGCORPS. BUT LICORICE IS FINE.

Over Powering,
These are nasty way to strong nothing like what you get over here in Canada from the English Grocers or the Wandering Scott store. Plus these came in a zip lock bag which any one can open, They should be in a proper sealed bag with all the info printed on it. Bought 3 zip lock bags worth and only had about 6 pieces in the several months since purchased. Awful stuff!
