Casio A159W-N1DF Classic Digital Bracelet Watch

As usual, the backlight on this and other F91W derivatives, is poor. But that's part of the charm. It's a simple, very small, retro-digital watch that looks great on smaller wrists. The band on the F159W is very nice (although removing links is a pain). The nicer band is the reason I chose the 159 over the 158 (otherwise they are the same save the print on the face).

The best version of the 159 with removable links and folding clasp. Shipped quickly.

This is the A159w! I ordered because of the seller picture description, but does not say “japan u” on the front only on back. Its a little upsetting because thats what I wanted. It does say japan on back and the band is not the same as the description. From my understanding, the A159WA has a different band . The wacth is 100%authentic and perfect I just wish I received the model with the “japan u” on the front like the seller has it . Hope you find my review helpful incase you are also looking for the watch I was looking to get! Either way the A159w or A159wa are both japan made!

Made in Japan - not so common with the sub-$300 Casios these days. Classic model dating back to late 80s. Nice bracelet with this particular ref.

I bought this watch because I wanted to own (as far as I know) the only digital Casio currently being made in Japan. I can say that at least with the watch I received, the attention to detail is better than the other Casios I own which are made in Thailand. Every Casio is durable, every Casio keeps great time, but with this watch I didn't notice any minor finish flaws in the crystal, or slightly misaligned LCD, or any of the other things I've seen in some of my other Casio watches. Pick up a piece of history! It's a great looking little watch.

This watch is very nice looking on the wrist. It's very accurate and has only gained +1 seconds in 17 days since I got it and set it. It has a very loud alarm and a 1 hour chronograph stopwatch, as well as an LED night light. The watch band is very nice looking and the watch is very light and it feels very comfortable on the wrist. I wear mine 24/7 for a few days at a time while rotating it with a few other Casio LCD's that I own and it's very comfortable on my wrist. This watch is water resistant. I always shower and swim with it and I've never had any problems with compromising its water resistance. Overall, this is a very beautiful and high quality watch and it's also very durable. I love it.

This is the watch John Candy wore in plains trains and automobiles .Maybe the best Movie in the world.And i dont know how well it does in water not going to try it out this is more of a collctor item to me.

Same watch John Candy's character wore in "Planes, Trains and Automobiles". Light/lume isn't great (keep in mind this is the same movement that is in a F91w). But it'll last forever I'm sure.

This is the A159W model. Looks identical to the cheaper A158 but I bought this one because it is made in Japan. Very nice retro watch. Received the package within 48 hours so shipping was very fast. No fancy packaging or box but that is ok, it arrived in perfect condition.

El reloj se mira muy bien sobre todo por la correa le da un toque muy elegante solo que mi decepción fue porque en la parte del cristal no viene la inscripción "japan u" solamente viene en la tapa trasera, no se si sea por ser unidades más recientes

Pour le prix on ne peut pas trop lui en demander... fonctions de base simples... :-)Mais le bracelet... impossible de l'ajuster pour un poignet de moins de 19 cms...Je retourne cette montre et j'ai pris un autre modèle Casio.
