Overall, Very happy!
The unit was installed by me into my 2007 Ford F250 SuperDuty Powerstroke Diesel. Installation was an absolute breeze! I've never installed a stereo before but am an avid do it yourselfer. If you have a hard time with the self serve check out machine … save yourself a headache and pay the money to have it installed!I have had the unit in for about a week now and so far I am very pleased with the feature set. I work mostly from home and haven't driven at any length yet but so far so good.Installation:I picked up the wiring harness and dashkit from amazon (links below) I took my time and soldered the wire harness connections and heat shrinked them to the head unit harness. Everything connected right up in the dash and I did not need any adaptors for the antennae. The dash kit... Did not fit the head unit... This required using my dremel to trim this lip around the inside opening off. Not sure if this was due to the kit I bought or of this is a common occurrence for my vehicle … Once that was done the unit slipped right and looks great!I had some old AV cable laying around that I used for the reverse camera connections. I ran the yellow cable from the camera down the frame of the truck and up through a grommet under the carpet on the driver side and up into behind the dash and then connected to the appropriate connector on the unit. The red wire took almost the same path but I opted to run under the door sill plate because I didn’t have the huge connector to get through the grommet. Ran to rear of the truck spliced it together with the red wire ran another section wire up into the driver side reverse light box and spliced into the positive wire, ran the ground out to a bolt in the light box.Sound:I still have the stock speakers in my truck and frankly my ears are not what they used to be … I like a decent sound though and was a little concerned this wouldn’t fit the bill …. I was wrong. The sound is a lot better than my stock stereo and I can hear over the rumble of the diesel (if you know the 6.0 - you know they are louder than the newer diesel's)GPSMine came with IGO GPS software loaded on a 4GB SD card - I've gone through the settings and features and it seems to be a solid feature set. I do get good signal with the included GPS unit. I ran mine to the center of my dash and seems to be working well there. I've tested a short route and it works great however it does not seem to announce street names but apparently there are some revisions that can be done "under the hood" to make it work… I'm still researching this and I remember will update accordingly. I think the coolest feature is the sherman tank icon I can use for my vehicle!Radio:I'm able to pick up all stations in the San Antonio Metro area as well as AM stations (this was very important - I listen to a lot of talk radio)iPOD Connector:So, upon first installation and connecting to an old 32GB G2 iPOD I was a little disappointed. The connection was there the device was recognized, I could select songs and play but nothing would come through the speakers! I get my iPad 2 out, put a song or 2 on it connect it to the dongle and it plays as it should … ok, I thought. Maybe I need to reformat the iPOD with iTunes … did that tried again same thing….. I'm assuming the device is just too old to work with the dongle… back to the garage it goes! Enter, an old iPhone 4s that has broken wifi and is pretty much useless (except for its 64GB of storage) loaded an album on it, take it to the truck, connect it up and baddabingbaddaboom - it works! SWEET! Problem solved …. Now to build some playlists! One minor annoyance is that if the truck is off, so is power to the radio and subsequently power to the iPhone. Took a little bit to get enough juice for the phone to fire up, once it did I was back in biz. Another thing I've noticed is there is no "shuffle" on the unit in the iPod app. I have found that I can use the shuffle feature in the music app of the phone though with mix results… still digging into this…SD Card:I had a 16GB micro SD card laying around so I threw some albums and some pics on it … it reads no problem, so long as you format with FAT32 (on a Windows PC you can format a disk with either FAT32 or NTFS) only thing worth mentioning here is, it can read *.m3u (playlist file extension) One thing I have noticed is that it does not read the track number tag of the id3 Tag … still messing around with this but between the ipod connector and pandora through bluetooth I'm pretty much good to go and don’t see using this often … it will primarily be pictures for wallpapers and maybe my favorite full albums so they are always at the ready… so long as I can make the tracks play in order.DVD:Not messed around with movies yet but I would assume the work just fine… if you have a six year old daughter the last thing you want is for to catch wind your shiny new stereo plays movies only to have to explain to her that daddy will get in trouble if you watch a movie from the back while I'm driving.WIFI:I was able to connect to the wifi in my house and it works great.3G/ Tethering:I've not connected a 3g dongle however I have tethered to my windows phone and it works great.Bluetooth:I've not had the opportunity to be involved with a conference call while in my truck yet since installing the radio. The few quick phone calls I've had seem to be ok. I do think I need to mess with mic placement (currently on the steering column) if not upgrade the mic all together. I bought a mic because I didn’t catch that the unit came with one however it did not work with the provided connector which is the standard 1/8" So I will probably end up getting an adaptor and replacing the provided mic with the nicer one that I bought.Overall I am very pleased with the unit! It looks great , sounds great and a great feature set. Is it perfect? What is? Boot up time for example is a little long it seems but its not something that would poopoo a review (for me)Still tweaking and playing … if I remember to update this I certainly will.Pumpkin 6.2 inch Android 4.4.4 KitKat Double Din In Dash Capacitive HD Multi-touch Screen Car DVD Player GPS Navigation Stereo AM/FM Radio Support Bluetooth/SD/USB/ipod/AV-IN/OBD2/3G/Wifi/DVRhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00P7G82TS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1Wire Harness Used:Metra 70-5520 Radio Wiring Harness for Ford 03-Up Power/4 Speakerhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0007WTF34/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Backup Camera:Esky EC170-06 HD Color CCD Waterproof Car Rear View Backup Camera, 0.86X0.65X0.50-inchhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GSFIJS6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Dash Kit:Metra 95-5812 Double DIN Installation Kit for Select 2004-up Ford Vehicles -Blackhttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K4V4X8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Nightmare - don't buy
I bought one of these and have regretted it ever since. The GPS receiver worked for a day and a half before crapping out and making any and all navigation and location-aware apps useless. I've tried on trips of several hours, and the unit never finds the *receiver*, much less satellites. (There are two separate messages when it's working properly; first it finds the receiver, then looks for satellites.) The bluetooth stack doesn't include serial port profile, so my bluetooth GPSr doesn't help and the unit won't recognize USB GPS receivers, so that's not a solution either. I've tried using my phone's GPS, but it's a huge hassle because every time I turn on the car I have to start separate (and different) apps on both the phone and the stereo before navigation apps can be started, and it's unreliable and iGo keeps saying "GPS signal lost" even though it's not. The built-in weather widget on the homescreen apparently doesn't recognize the external GPS and hasn't updated in over a year even though it has Internet through my phone's hotspot. The WiFi never worked worth a flip - it has to be 10 feet from the router to get a signal.I sent the unit into Pumpkin for a replacement, but all they did was add a little wire antenna (which gives me about 5 foot more range, still practically useless) and claim there was nothing wrong with the GPS. I've been back and forth with them for over a year, and they're always friendly and "helpful", except the only real help would be to just replace the unit with one that's not defective and they refuse. Also, this unit is VERY deep. It's over 2 inches (5 cm) deeper than my factory CD stereo, far deeper than necessary for the optical disc player, and too deep for my dash. It's sort of installed but it forces the dash piece out and makes the gap more than .25 cm. The only way to fix it would be to cut out a support in the back of my dash, which I'm not willing to do for this hunk of junk. Don't buy this unless you have at least 7.5 inches of depth behind your dash. This can pair with many phones, but it can only connect with one at a time, so if you have a partner only the driver can connect with the stereo if you're both in the car. That means you can't both have handsfree and the driver can't have handsfree phone while the passenger fiddles with video or audio on their device. The bluetooth OBDII adapter that I bought from Pumpkin also is a hunk of junk. It makes my car buck and sputter. I can't use it at all, making Torque and any other OBDII apps also useless. Also, good luck with Android 5.1 - mine is still 4.4 and shows no sign of finding an update.Stay very, very far away from Pumpkin brand.(Attached photos show that the unit isn't looking for satellites, it's looking for the RECEIVER - because the receiver is dead and can't be found...)

Pretty decent for the price
This is a great price for an android based radio. I has many nice features that I like. I have had it for almost 9 months and it has not had any failure of any kind. However, there are several issues with the design that I do no like. Overall I do really like it but I think it could use a few changesPros:double dintouch screenAndroid OSGPSiPod control2 USB inputsMicro SD slotbackup cameraWifi3g expandabilityruns all android appsBluetooth (the phone call quality is very good)AM/FMThe option for Steering controls. The side button backlight color can be changed to any color.Video/audio output for Auxiliary monitorsVideo/audio input for external devices.screen dims and buttons light up when headlights are on (if you hook up the dimmer wire)The GPS button can be set to open any program you have installed. I use WAZE.Cons:The music player has no shuffle optionif you have the ignition on and then start the car it will automatically start playing my thumb drive or SD card from the beginning of the list. This wouldn't be so bad if I could shuffle it.doesn't work with iPod classic, I have only been able to get it to work with Nanobuilt in i Go GPS is not so greatsub woofer output with no sub woofer control (so it is almost pointless)No satellite radio option. When downloading apps can only be saved internal memory, which is only 4 gigs.*Update* The company contacted me about some of the issues I had. The reason it won't support my iPod classic is because it only supports up to 16 GB. They also gave me and updated OS that adds the shuffle option to the music player, which works very well. Therefore I am changing my review from 3 to 4 stars.

Great Purchase
I have installed this into a phase 2 Vivaro, essential to purchase the correct fitting kit. I am very impressed with this unit, looks cool, android is definitely the best way to go. I have had a couple of issues with the iGo Sat Nav software and the back up from Pumpkin has been first class. importantly for me the don't assume i'm either an idiot or expert, and they have informed me I have an 18month guarantee.Features are excellent, as listed in the add, comprehensive cable kit supplied although I had to get an aerial connection adaptor, (easily available) Build quality feels good. The combination of both touch screen and manual buttons works well. I have yet to finish the addition of the reversing camera but am confident it will work well.I would definitely recommend both the unit and 'Pumpkin'.

Brilliant
Love this head unit. I'm going to see if I can upgrade the Android version at some point. I had a custom made dash made for my Classic Mini for it to fit in, and it works and fits a treat. would really recommend it. You will need the cage to go with this. Pumpkin sell it direct or on Amazon.http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00VUGBF52?ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3

Excellent bit of kit
Excellent bit of kit, had problems with the unit not connecting to wifi, customer service was excellent and provided me with another unit and all is working as it should.Default music player looks good but doesnt do a shuffle function but as its android i just downloaded another.Bluetooth is crystal clear for both calls and steaming audio.if the unit had a DAB radio it would be perfect.
