Shocked! Brand name Dremel just lost my business lol
I've been major Dremel brand fan for years but after my last one died prematurely i wanted to weigh my options. For $20 I wasn't expecting to get the highest quality piece out there but you can't tell the difference. Honestly I think this may be smoother and more quiet than my dremel, comes with the extension for precise touch. All the accessories are compatible with any rotary tool which is nice. I have zero complaints

Versatile Tool and Accessories - Good Value
Even though I already own a cordless Dremel Rotary Tool I could not pass up this rotary tool by TackLife as it was a bargain; getting the rotary tool, case, flexible driver, and accessories all for around $20.I've just started using it and so far I am pleased. The rotary tool runs smoothly and relatively quiet with stepless variable speed adjustments ranging from 3,200 to 10,000 rpm. The flexible drive attachment comes in handy as it allows you the freedom to work without having to hold the rotary tool itself. The included accessories are a good mix that will handle a multitude of projects. And since they share a standard shank size there are lots of replacement accessories readily available. And finally the blow molded case allows me to neatly store the tool and accessories when I'm through working.I am pleased with this purchase and think this rotary tool set is a bargain. If I experience any issue I will update this review.

Works great for doing dog nails
Let me be clear. I have not used this in any heavy load capacity. It gets used to do the Dane's nails and the small blind idiot dog's nails. The Dane watches me get it out and comes over for her pedicure. The small blind idiot hears me work on the dane and goes to hide. This is not Dremel quality, but Dremel doesn't seem to be Dremel quality any more either... Spindle assembly works fine for my use (appears stable and straight without wobble) and I wouldn't hesitate to use if for other minor jobs. Not sure it would stand up well to grout removal, or routing wood, or other heavier load jobs. For now, it keeps the dane happy, and that ain't bad for a days' work... (btw-if using for dog nails, wear a mask or better yet have someone hold a shop vac to suck up the dust. You don't want to breathe that stuff long term.)

great product very affordable!
Needed a new rotary tool as my old one decided to finally give out on me. This time around i wanted to replace it with a model that included the flexible extension for better control. Was looking at the dremel brand but was way out of my price range at the time. Found this one it came with what i needed and was very affordable. Figured i could use it at least for a bit until i could save some money for a better one but after receiving it and using it I'm glad i gave a shot. Works as great maybe better than my older one that went out. I have already recommended it to a few friends.

This cost just a little over what I pay for two packs of cigarettes!
I bought this to replace a cordless Dremel tool (their top of the line model) for which I paid $100.00. The Dremel tool was delivered half way charged and ran for less than 5 minutes before dying out. After recharging it for one hour I tried it again and, after 5 minutes of light polishing duty, it began to get uncomfortably warm in my hand. Then I read a number of reviews on Amazon which referred to instances of sparks and fire hazards associated with charging the particular rechargeable battery used with this product. I remembered seeing on TV what happens when a lithium ion battery ruptures for whatever reason. It starts out throwing off a few little sparks and then quickly turns into what looks like the flame throwers used in Vietnam to clear enemy tunnels. I didn't think it was worth trying to go to sleep with that image in mind so I returned it. To sum it all up, using an automotive analogy, I would say that the Tacklife is to the Dremel what a Porche is to an Escort, with a reminder that the Tacklife is 1/5 the cost of the Dremel.

Good Dremel replacement
My Dremel finally bit the dust after 20 years. And i really didn't want to spend $60-80 to replace it right now. Found this one and was rather pleased with it once I got it. It has separate power and speed controls which my Dremel didn't have. On my Dremel my palm would some times touch the control and change the speed while using it. That wont happen with this one. Tried my old accessories with this one one and had no problem interchanging them. Also liked that the lowest speed was slower than my old one, giving me better control on some jobs and not building up as much heat friction. Very happy with it. Only negative is that the case doesn't feel like it will last too long, made of that cheap plastic you run across sometimes that cracks easily.

Cool tool! Buy it!
Surprised at the quality of this product for what I paid. I would say it is equal to or possibly better than the name brand product. I have owned 3 of the name brand rotary tools over the past 20 years and I bought this product after my last name brand one burned out. I am impressed with its power and quality. Plus it was about ⅓ of the price. In fact I was so impressed that I also purchased the cordless model as well during Amazon prime day, which is also a very good quality tool. I am an independent businessman who works in the construction industry. I am hard on tools both at work and in my hobbies. I have purchased tens of thousands of dollars in power tools over the years and know a thing or two about quality. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

TACKLIFE Rotary Tool with Flex Shaft
This is the best value name brand rotary tool that I've found on here. I've used this thing for a lot of different projects and put a lot of hours on it. I've used it for making tools, body work, wood projects, polishing up metal and so on. The flex shaft attachment is a life saver too and works so much better than trying to balance the whole tool in your hand. I recommend this over the cheaper no name tools but also the more expensive name brand tools. You'll want to buy a lot more attachments and bits after you buy this thing.

unreliable - DO NOT BUY!
I have had this for four months and have had no real issues with it. However, over time this device starts changing speeds. The dial on top is put to full and you can hear it go up and down in speed. It gets the job done but this variation in speed has become a concern. I checked other outlets in the shop (on different parts of the electricity net) but all the same. Good value, yeah maybe, but reliable... not so much.EDIT: when cutting a drain pipe the cutting tool came loose and shot into a stut. It missed me but it would have injured me - this tool is NOT SAFE and I recommend TO NOT BUY THIS TOOL!
