Deuter Compact EXP 12 w/ 3L Reservoir

A well-made and nicely thought through light-weight pack. Competent materials and construction. Holds more than I would have expected -- the expansion feature comes in handy. Compartments and interior packets are all effectively designed. I've used the rain cover twice so far during extended rides in very heavy rain and it has kept the interior of the pack dry. The only critiques, it would be nice if the side-mesh drink pockets were slightly larger, and the zipper compartments on the waist belt are too far back to be accessible while wearing the pack.

It is everything my bf wanted, he is more than happy with it. He has used it non stop since he got it and it barely shows any wear.

Without a doubt the best hydration backpack I've ever owned. I added their insulation bag for the ultimate solution to warm weather mountan biking.

ON THE OUTSIDEThe Dueter EXP 12 has a hidden rain cover perfect for keeping contents dry. The shoulder straps are a rubberized mesh, which is not only great for ventilation, but also contribute to a stable, solid feel when on the body. Not to mention how easy it is to clean. The zippered pockets on the hip straps are also great for quick access to your phone (iPhone 5 just fits) or small tool or a small snack.ON THE INSIDEThere are many storage options inside the EXP 12 with lots of organized zippered pockets for small tools, lighter and valuables . Hallo, bei mir war klar ein Deuter muss es sein.Es ging um drei Rücksäcke, Compact EXP 12, Rac EXP Air und Race X.Alle haben meiner Meinung nach ihre Vor und Nachteile.Der Race X ist sehr leicht hat aber nur bedingt Platz und lässt sich nicht erweitern, dafür ist er sehr klein und bietet Platz für das nötigste.Der Race EXP Air hat ein sehr angenehmes Rückensystem, lässt sich erweitern ist jedoch von der Organisation her nicht ganz so strukturiert wie der Compact EXP 12. Der Compact EXP 12 hat eine super Organisation im inneren und bietet viele Extras was mir besonders gut gefallen hat.Jedoch sind alle Rucksäcke eigentlich zu empfehlen, hatte alle drei bestimmt ne Stunde im Laden an und habe Hosen und Jacken ein und ausgepackt.Unterm Strich kommt es auf die Bedürfnisse drauf an, für ne lockere Tagestour bei der man keine dicke Klamotten mitnehmen muss reichen die 12l des Race X locker aus, und für ein Trikot und Bein oder Armlinge ist genug Platz. Wenn man aber im Winter oder in den Übergangszeiten viel Kleidung mitnehmen muss(Jacke, Hose, Essen, Werkzeug usw.) wird man mit allen drei Rucksäcken früh an ihre Grenzen stoßen.Ich habe in alle drei Rucksäcke meine 2 Schichten North Face Winterjacke rein bekommen, und die braucht richtig Platz.Hoffe ich konnte euch helfen.

I am quite happy with this small compact backpack. I have been using it both for biking and travelling/hiking. It is very nicely finished and has many options and small compartments to store things.One of the nicest features is that you are able to expand the volume of the backpack which improves it's applicability a lot. highly recommended!

Habe mir den rucksack gekauft, da mein TransAlpine 30 fürs Bike zu "hoch" ist und ich laufend beim Bergabfahren mit dem Helm angestoßen bin.dieser Rucksack ist der Hammer, in jeder Lage. er bietet unglaublich viel Platz, man kann ihn vergrößern, er hat ein Regencampe und einen Helmhalter versteckt. Was will man mehr!?Klare Kaufempfhelung!!!

Bin vollstens zufrieden. Der Rucksack hat mehrere kleine Fächer zum verstauen einer kleinen Luftpumpe und weiterem Zubehör. Das aussenliegende Helmnetz finde ich super. Die Regenhülle passt perfekt, auch mit Helm am Rucksack.Jederzeit wieder.
