I love this serum. It sinks right into your skin for a hydrated, soft feeling. Works on dark spots but takes time.This serum is great for mature skin with dryness. My skin feels silky and soft.

I’m a bona fide skin care junkie who practices a modified version of the Korean 10-step routine nightly. Not only does this involve a double-cleanse, but multiple layers of toners, sera, creams and oils – each targeting a specific complexion issue (exfoliation, brightening, melisma and moisture barrier – to name a few). In order to truly gauge the efficacy of this Vichy serum, I put all my other products aside for 10 days and used this exclusively after cleansing. And for the most part? I’m pleased and impressed.This is formulated to tackle multiple skin issues. It contains citrus flavonoids, licorice root and Adenosine for brightening, moisturizing and exfoliating, respectively. It seems to work best as an exfoliant and radiance booster, but not so much at protecting/rebuilding the skin’s moisture barrier. The serum is very lightweight – a milky colored, slippery gel that goes on smooth and absorbs completely (without any tell-tale tackiness). It doesn't smell perfume-y, but has a fermented scent that puts me in mind of several Asian brand toners/essences that contain fermented rice or sake (like the pitera in SK-II). And a little goes a long way. One pump is more than enough to cover the entire face and neck area. The first thing I noticed is that my face became slightly pink after application (a sure sign that some kind of chemical exfoliator is at work) and after several days, my face looked both smoother and brighter. However, without using my hyaluronic acid toner and deep moisturizing cream, I was also starting to feel slightly dry. After years of using multiple products, I firmly believe that a single product can’t handle it all. Therefore, I’d suggest that if you have dry or dehydrated skin, Vichy Radiance Boosting serum should be used as your second layer (after essence/toner) but should be topped with something designed specifically for hydration.This is a great product for restoring that youthful glow to aging skin suffering from slow cell turnover and makes an excellent addition to my nightly routine.
