This is accurate with the reviews
I honestly do listen to the product reviews that are provided by my fellow amazon peers. I tried this out cause for the price and the reviews-- why not?I've never done hot yoga-- let alone yoga at all. I must say, for the my first time and with this band, it really does uphold its reputation. It stayed in place the entire time I was in hot yoga for my 60 minutes session. Not once did I have a bead of sweat trickle down (and I have thick, wavy Asian hair).I also used this just yesterday for my move in muggy 80-90 degree weather. It also stayed in place with all the moving and running around I did for 9 hours. Also, I had washed and dried it between uses, it still retained it's color and shape. So I was pleasantly surprised about that.My only "gripe" is that I wish it was offered in more colors.Other than that, I'm glad I gave this product a chance :)

Keeps hair out of my face during down dog
I bought two of these yogitoes headbands in black. I have used the product for a week at my yoga classes, and it keeps the sweat out of my eyes and my hair off my face. I have relatively short hair (female, it is slightly above the shoulder, no bangs), so it barely stays in a hair tie. However, when I take my hair tie off to do back poses, this yogitoes headband still keeps my hair back off my face. Even though I sweat during my workout, the headband does not get damp or grimy, so I find that I can comfortably put it over my eyes for Savasana (corpse pose). I do struggle a bit getting the headband comfortable at first, since I don't like to tuck it behind my ears, and the headband is two inches wide; I've decided that partially covering my ears is less silly looking than tucking it behind my rather large ears. Either way (in front of ears or behind them), the headband doesn't slip around during yoga.I have not tried to wash it yet, but the stitching appears durable and it seems like I would survive a delicate wash with my other workout clothes. I would hang it to dry, since it is made of a synthetic-feeling fabric that I doubt would machine dry well.

Better than my other headbands for exercise
I have purchased less expensive headbands at the local store, which basically worked just "OK" while exercising at the gym. However, I found that I've had to continually adjust those other ones while on my head, and use bobby pins or just have hair go into my face. This is a distraction while teaching (I'm a group exercise instructor at a gym.) Used this black Yogitoes headband in yoga class this morning, and it was great. (However, it was not hot yoga --- haven't used it for that yet.)I prefer this one because it is very wide (4 inches wide), yet thin material (not thick or bulky!!) and holds my all of my hair away from my face (including bangs and fly-away hairs). If, for some reason, I wanted it to be narrower, I could simply fold it in half....and it's STILL not bulky! It does not roll at the edges either! (I have purchased a different headband for yoga--not this Yogitoes one--and it was only single thickness and rolled so much at the edges that it no longer looks or acts like a wide headband!)True, it's a couple dollars more, but I find it very worth it because THIS ONE WORKS VERY WELL !!!

just an idea
just didn't stay on my head. For the price, it was like buying my arch enemies used Scrunci brand head band out of desperation. But I loved Yogitoes slip resistant towels. These would be much better if they had the same things that are on the towel for the hair, of course damage/ tangle free toward the hair.

Keeps sweat out of your eyes
I bought these to help keep the sweat out of my eyes during hot yoga. And it absolutely works. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because they tend to make your head feel extra warm. Usually I wear it going through the standing positions to keep the sweat for rolling into my eyes, but once we switch to floor positions I tend to take it off, because it really warms up your head.

Not well made
This headband works great during class though immediately began unraveling at the seams and needed resewn on just the first wear. Have not have any problems since adding a few reinforcement stitches.

VERY Disappointed!
I have been using Yogitoes products for some time and when I was in need of a new head band for my classes I went back to a company that I trusted. HOWEVER, the quality of this product is horrible! The head band was was not even sewn completely and was coming apart at the seems. It is not even worth my time to make the trip to the post office and return it. Would not recommend! Try Yogarat products.

good headband
This is a good headband. I use it for Hatha yoga and it works well for me. It's a little big so I hold part of it. The only downside is that it starts to slip off after a little while.

Not good for yoga at all
If you sweat a lot like myself, then this is a TERRIBLE head band and not the one for you. It's so thin that it barely absorbs any sweat; it all just ends up dripping into your eyes anyway. On a positive note it is good for holding back fly-away hairs if you're washing your face, but that's about it.

Good if you want something a bit looser
Simple headband in a soft fabric. Fits a bit loose.
