The Man in 3B

This book was so good. I could just picture the characters in my head. Wasn’t predictable, and I’m a writer as well as an avid reader.

daryl daryl daryl !! the thug you can take home to your mother ! ;)i don't know what to even put in the review for this one here . I'm so surprised on that way it ended . I was so skeptical at first to buy it because it was $10 just for the Kindle Edition . this book was even more at Wal-Mart . eventually I gave in !! when I say this book is MOVIE material I mean just that ! I'd love to see this become a actual movie . it was so good I read it in about 3 days . somany twists and turns ! even after the fire and the man in 3b is killed everyone becomes a suspect ! I became mad reading it like " who would kill daryl ?! & why ?!" you think you'll have it figured out on who killed him but no Mr Weber throws something new into the story like damn who really did it ?! with good reason we find out the answers to all our questions during the epilogue of the story .the characters were a trip !! they had me literally laughing out loud throughout the book ! the drug dealer and his dope head girlfriend, the stoop women who just have to be in everyone's business instead of minding their own, that man that's so unsatisfied with life he leaves to change it only to try to come back later ! the single father and his son were my favorites after mr daryl graham !! yet benny was so adorable I just wanted to hug him !! these characters were so realistic ! they were all characters you'd see in everyday life and I was intrigued to know more about all of them !so many mysteries in this story too ! for example : ladies how excited would you be if your man brought home those " little blue boxes" every now and then ;) !! lol !! & what an ending ! I didn't know whether to be upset , surprised , or mad . hmm . very good job Mr Weber ! I'm upset it took me so long to buy it in the first place ! this is going into my Kindle favorites !!

Daryl Graham, the man who moved in 3b, is the talk of his new apartment building. Armed with good looks, personality and charm, he simultaneously attracts women, men, fans, foes and past lovers. Opinions regarding if he should be loved or hated shift according to private interactions. Daryl is a mysterious character with some sort of criminal past, but we never are told exactly what it is. As daily gossip flies on the stoop, neighbors take turns playing a part that leads to the ultimate build up--a death and fire that helps the book to shift in another direction--mystery. Was the new tenant what he appeared to be? A good guy who took morning runs seemed polished at first glance, but behind closed doors, maybe there is more to him than meets the eye, and the people with whom he shared time, too. Secrets unravel strategically as readers learn who got to know him, and in which ways. Daryl is one busy gentleman who has good and bad luck alike.When the police try to connect pieces to a criminal puzzle, it's hard to feel sorry for everyone in the cast very long. Agendas collide and halt in an unlikely manner. Who can be trusted, and who is telling the truth about what really happened to the most intriguing character in the book? Tenants finger point and turn on each other to save their own freedom. Avery and Connie easily become a favorite couple in the story.Carl Weber's latest book will leave readers wondering if Daryl Graham will return, offering more insight about how he became the man who everyone wanted to know. Weber fans could easily anticipate another appearance, after this entertaining foray. The Man in 3b is an intriguing read with a "who done it" backdrop.

Really enjoyed this book, loved the the characters, especially the ladies on the stoop. Hard to believe that people still have the time in this day and age for a good gossip. :-) love this authors work even if we have only just discovered his books, by way of a recommendation via Goodreads. One of the best recommendations made.

Got my book on time I was very pleased as it was like new. To date I think this is one of Weber best it was really good finish reading in a day

This book was epic as it had a twist at the end that I never for saw so enjoyed it.

Love all his books. Will not put it down.

Very good from start to end. Kept you gripped. Lovely ending.
