Good Desks - Great Brand and Set
Backstory and Overview:We had a "home office" but rarely worked in it. With COVID, all of a sudden we needed a full office at home. We had a hodgepodge of stuff but me and my husband both needed a full desk, plus his job requires him to sift through tubs of stuff often, so he needed extra room to do that. We had stuff covering our dining room table and on side tables in our living room.We decided to redo the office. We painted and we needed desks and a bookcase. We wanted them to match, but also didn't want to spend a ton. This was the only brand I could find near this price point that had so many matching options! We wound up buying:2 corner desks (this product):https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KG67ZQ5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=11 straight desk:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GS1LRDY/ref=twister_B08D3LZF82?_encoding=UTF8&th=11 bookcase:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074X7WT6D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1NOTE: The corner desk is more narrow in width than the 55" straight desk. This desk doesn't state the width, so we had no way of knowing until we put the desks next to each other. A little annoying, but we're so happy with how everything else turned out it's not a huge deal.Assembly:Assembly was pretty good on all the desks! They provide one extra screw of every size, which is nice if you drop one. It even comes with a little screwdriver, but a regular sized one is easier to use. The hardware seemed nice-sized so we think this is going to hold up over time. The end result is nice and sturdy. The desks all look more expensive than they were! We like the wood look but in a more modern design. It's not clunky or ornate, but not too minimalist. If you buy other pieces from the brand, we were really happy that they all actually matched and they weren't off a shade or anything like that. These are nice and big. Mine holds a laptop, large monitor, and I often use a big planner and a notebook while I work. My husband's holds his laptop and he's often working out of files or binders. We each have a lamp on our desk too. It all fits well! Room for everything, but everything's within reach.

Works perfectly for my needs
For the price, this isn't going to be top of the line, and that's fine with me. I was looking for an inexpensive desk that fit my current needs. I had an older behemoth of a desk that had drawers and tons of cubby holes which I no longer needed. It was just a place to collect clutter and dust. I wanted something smaller that still gave me enough room for a keyboard, mouse, and monitor along with a place for my laptop that allowed me to use the camera for video meetings (very popular since COVID came along and not something my former desk allowed easily). I work from home, so all of this was of great importance for me.This was simple to put together (took 2 of us less than an hour, and we were taking our time on a leisurely Sunday afternoon), and it's pretty sturdy. It looks pretty nice, too, and I love the L shape as it allows me to easily swivel from my monitor to my laptop for video meetings. There's plenty of desktop space for everything I need without it feeling cluttered, and I have some room to spare. I've ordered a small desk caddy for the items I use often, and it'll be plenty of storage for me.I'm very pleased with this. It feels so much lighter in my office with this desk compared to my old one, and I'm finding it a much more pleasant work environment with a smaller desk.If you're looking for an inexpensive and easy to assemble desk, I highly recommend this one.

Simple, sturdy, easy to assemble
I originally bought one of these for my partner’s music room because he was using a folding work table, two rolling utility carts, the top half of a dresser hutch, and a sofa side table assembled in an arrangement that sort of looked like a desk and enough was enough. He needed something that was very basic, no fancy drawers or side whatsits, and easy access to cables underneath. But more importantly, it had to be a corner desk that fit in the only spot available and not block part of the side window. I ordered this based mostly on the measurements and that it seemed to be as plain as possible.I am very glad I purchased this desk! It took only about an hour to put together, which included time taking a phone call. The instructions were very easy to follow, save one cross bar that took a few minutes to determine if I had it oriented correctly. It took all morning to disassemble the furniture chaos and wrangle the cables and all afternoon to put everything back the way it was (picture doesn’t show the tower of audio equipment that lives on a platform next to the desk), but assembling the desk happened during lunch, easy peasy. Some advice for anyone who buys this: while it comes with all the tools you need, I found it was a lot easier to assemble with a ratcheting screwdriver and a cordless drill with driver bit. This is especially helpful when it’s time to put the top two pieces on, as there’s a bazillion screws. I drove them in with the cordless drill, then tightened them down with the ratcheting screwdriver.I liked this desk so much that I bought a second one for my office. We have a room that was supposed to be a bedroom, but at some point, the previous owners took a chunk out of it to make a closet for the bedroom, which resulted in an L-shaped tiny room that’s more like a glorified closet and far too small to put even a bed in, much less any other furniture. Of course, what that meant was I would have to assemble the desk inside the room, since there’s no way of getting it in there fully assembled. However, this desk was so easy to assemble, I had no problem assembling it in the small space. The second picture shows the desk in my office; the room is just wide enough for this desk with a slim rolling office cart to the right and a double wide cart to the left. That’s the entire space I had to assemble the desk and I was able to do it with little trouble.I like that the bottom of it is completely open so you can fit anything into the space and get at outlets and cables below without issue. Since it’s so simple, there’s a lot of customization possibilities and plenty of foot room without having to shoehorn into one spot. This comes in handy for my partner, who keeps a couple amps and a rat’s nest of cables under it, with three (one not pictured) monitors on top. I put my stacking file drawers and a trash can under mine with printer on top. Both desks have cat toys that get batted under them, but fortunately the toys are easy to fish out with all that space under there. The desk is also very sturdy. My printer weighs a crap-ton and I have climbed on it to reach something from the wall shelf above. It doesn’t wiggle or shake at all, which will be handy when I have to break out the large format printer that shakes everything it touches.
