A Proven Standard.
These covers always work well if you get the size right. I’ve used these for years.

Perfect for the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 Scope
I love how you can shoot without flipping the cap open. They stay well in place, but i wish it had more of a locking mechanism to keep this cap closed and they are easily flipped up since they have springs to open. With the Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x50 scope I needed size 7 and 10 to save some people time. If you don't care that this scope cover opens easily especially when unwanted, then I would say buy now, but otherwise wait for a revision of the mechanism.

Solid 4 star
Love these caps, but it is hard to find the right fit for my Burris scope. Wish they would stay closed better

Amazing Customer Service !
I ordered online as sportsman warehouse was out of stock, they measured my scope and gave me the sizing to order. The sizing they gave me was incorrect as it was too small and did not fit the scope, during the return process through Amazon I was offered an exchange which I accepted for the next size bigger. The new cover also did not fit my scope, and I had to reach out and request another return/exchange. The company did so with ease and helped make sure that I re-ordered the correct size for a 3rd time. :) Totally my error, but they were wonderful and the exchanges were simple and quick.

Amazing See-Thru Scope Cover! Buy It!
This is an absolutely amazing see-thru scope cover and totally worth buying. I purchased this item because I needed a cover for my scope on my airsoft rifle. I didn't want to damage my scope by taking a BB to the lens so I decided to search for a see-thru scope cover that would allow me to continue using my scope but provide protection at the same time. This item met the bill perfectly, I've got a cover on each end of the scope and you really can't even notice that the covers are on. They are completely see-thru, there's no glare from the sun on the scope and they fit perfectly. I would definitely give these scope covers a five out of five and would highly recommend them. Just measure the outside diameter of the scope and match up the scope cover # to the closest value possible and it'll fit just fine. Some of them might seem a bit tight of a fit, but trust me...if you measure correctly they'll work great. In summary this is an amazing scope cover and totally worth the money. 5/5

Size 9 fits nice and snug size 6 too loose
Took 1 star off because it tends to pop open on its own, could have had a better mechanism to keep shut, other than that exactly what i wanted. Can see through no issues with blurry image or anything. That was for the bigger one the size 9. the smaller size was loose so would come off really easy in fact i didnt even know i lost it until i got home and ended up finding it the next day on the path i walked. I tried the next size down and that would not fit at all so i will have to go with another brand but if both will fit front and back nice a snug than go with it.

Excellent for what they are...
I now have three pair of Butler Creeks, two sets of Blizzards which are see through and very functional. They aren't the same as Leupold Aluminas but aren't priced as much either. For around $20.00 I bought a pair for my Burris Fullfield II 2-7 X 33mm which sits on a Remington 7600 cabine in 30-06 and couldn't be happier.Love being able to pick up the gun and see through without having to flip anything open for a quick shot. Will be particularly helpful in the woods. To get these to work the way they should, they need to be slipped all the way on the scope. This will help make a tight fit with the lid so they stay closed. Also using Blizzards on a Tract Tekoa HD 4-16x44 BDC scope with a T/C Compass .308. Take time to get the right size.Leupys are great too! Just different...

Size chart/item size not accurate, construction and materials unsuited to purpose.
I carefully measured both ends of the scope I intended to put these on and came up with 38.5 mm on one end and 42.0 mm on the other.According to the size chart, those numbers indicated I would need a size 4 and a size 5, and that those sizes should be well within the range for each of those sizes, so they should fit easily. This was not the case. The size 4 was way too tight, and the material these are made from is so stiff and inflexible, there was just no way it was going to work. I managed to get it on the scope, but it was so far out of it's size range that the see-thru cover wouldn't even come close to closing.I then tried the size 5 (the next size up) on the same end of the scope. It was so large it would barely touch the sides of the scope and would fall right off. I don't want to have to wrap tape around my scope to build up the diameter so that one fits. Shouldn't need to.There is a severe design and engineering deficiency in these things, and they are not made the same as they used to be. I have a pair of these which I bought maybe 8 to 10 years ago, currently installed on a scope. They work well, and the material is softer and more pliable than these that are currently available. These could work fine for you if they fit, but I would suggest taking your scope along to a brick-and-mortar sporting goods store near you that carries them and actually putting them on, to see if they fit before purchasing. But, as in my case (4 too small, 5 too large) you may still not find a size that correctly fits one or both ends of your particular scope. The sizing information provided here is not accurate or useful at all, in my experience.
