Rice protein powder is a complete protein, containing all the essential amino acids our bodies require. Fat Burning – Protein takes energy to break down and put to use. Protein-rich foods like brown rice protein powder create a thermic effect where the body creates heat and burns more calories for hours after eating. Our organic rice protein powder has a protein content of 80% and contains all eight of the essential amino acids. Essential amino acids cannot be made within the body and must be provided from our food. Rice protein is hypoallergenic, meaning it is less likely to cause allergic reactions when compared to protein powders derived from egg, soy or milk. Add rice protein powder to your after-gym smoothie to aid in muscle recovery. You can even add it to your morning drink/porridge which will kick start your body into breaking down the protein while you go about your day.

Smooth fine powder-no gritty feel: recommended
Being a vegan intolerant of milk and legumes (no whey nor soya/pea based yummy smoothies), I rely on rice protein powder to meet my daily protein needs. I habitually buy another organic rice protein powder from a local health store for the same price. (I monitor my diet, so avoid ingesting chemicals whenever possible). My usual brand has a gritty feel and quite a strong natural smell that requires a lot of stevia or cinnamon to mask, so I researched my options but purchased even grittier powder online in the past. I compared this one with my usual brand in real time to avoid my own bias- and were pleasantly surprised! This one seems to be milled in much finer powder which feels smooth in porridge or smoothies, and is also without the heavy smell that perhaps came from hulls in the other powder. Overall, I am very pleased and will be buying this regularly providing the quality stays the same. Top marks to the manufacturer! Intake of 50 g rice powder gives around 40 g protein a day for less than 200 kcal which nearly covers my daily protein needs, and the price is good under such a regime. 1kg pack is enough for 20 days; easily eaten half in a morning protein cinnamon or cocoa porridge, and other half in a post work or exercise frozen berry protein smoothie in the afternoon, with real plant food around it without worrying about lack of protein intake. (Or hunger!) I measure my daily amount for few days in advance, and put it in a glass every morning on the kitchen counter, so I know it is my daily dose without under or overtaking protein, and forgetting whether or how much I have taken on any given day. It makes for easy weekdays, and I hope my experience and feedback helps someone save time browsing online! (Could everyone please try to give detailed honest feedback on whatever they buy, so we are better served as community of customers?) I am a real customer not endorsed by the seller and I recommend this brand (and rely on feedback of others when shopping)!

Making this product more palletable
I am trying to use this product as part of a diet plan to lose weight. It tastes foul no matter how I dress it up in vanilla extract or cocoa powder. I've also tried cooking with it, making muffins, pancakes and brownies. If you can suggest any other way of using it to make it more palletable I would be very grateful

Unpalatable flavour
The flavour is so overwhelming, and unpleasant, anything that you mix it with is masked. I can't eat it because I can't pallet it, unfortunately I'm going to have to pass it on or dispose of it.
