I purchased this a few days ago. There are a few things to be aware of.The machine itself seems well constructed. The one I received does have a parallel interface. The description was unclear if it was parallel or USB. The movements seem accurate and consistent.For $500, it does seem like a great deal. You could get something better, but it will definitely cost more.It was packed very well. If you watch others unboxing videos, it's the one that has plywood on top, and a plywood box inside, so it can't crush in shipping. I ended up filleting the box to unpack it. There was one minor ding, irrelevant for the machine's operation.The CD it comes with has pirated software and viruses. Don't put it in a computer you care about.The instructions are worthless. There is nothing about the machine setup. Since it's assembled, you'll be plugging in each motor wire to the connector closest to it. Most of the instructions are undecipherable notes on using the included virus ridden pirated software.There are no clear model number markings anywhere on the machine nor control box. The instructions do have a brief section on motors, and list out several machines, but none seem to correspond to this one. I'm still measuring, trying to guess the right mill software settings. The number on the box, "3AIX3040" isn't in the instructions anywhere. There are sample configs on the CD, but they don't line up to this number either.There are no markings on the motors nor spindle, parallel pinout, or anything, to indicate any of the mandatory information. Like, steps per rotation, or turns per cm. I'll try to update this comment with settings, after I'm done measuring.I'm not disappointed in the purchase. I'm actually delighted by it. I'm just annoyed by the lack of specs, and having to figure it all out manually.
