It will hold 8x10 pcs of paper if this helps. It expands but not like a typical expanding folder you might find in an office. I love it for cutting out recipes from magazines.

Q: Can this fit copy paper?

I have recipes printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper which is the standard letter size copy paper and it's not a problem to fit them in this file.

Yes, the dividers go all the way to the bottom. Nothing will fall out. The holder is large and can easily support recipes copied from the net on regular sized paper.
