Fits my 5 year old well. It's adjustable in the back by a velcro strap. The had is very lightweight and thin, so he can play tennis in it and sports. When it's super hot we spray it with cool water to keep him cool and shaded. The black does attract sun and he does get hot so I may try another color that is lighter to see if that helps, but it's a nice, well made hat with mesh sides. I would recommend.

I bought two of these to keep in our beach bag during a recent trip to Florida. They are exactly as expected. Lightweight, high-quality fabric and great size. Adjustable strap in back made it fit my 4 year old, 7 year old, and even me in a pinch.

Bought this hat for myself -- female adult and it fit perfect. I have a 20" head size and regular size adult hats do not fit me. I had to go to youth hats and wanted a moisture wick free hat and this is perfect. I highly recommend it.

My grandson wears a size 4 and this hat is just the right size for him. It doesn't block his view but help keep the sun off his face & eyes. It washes well and the material is lightweight and soft. He loves wearing it!

Bought for my 11 year old daughter- still too big- but she is kinda small. Kept because she will grow into it- tried sewing it to pull it beyond the Velcro. That didn’t work very well. I’d say it would be big on lots of elementary aged girls.
