PAIN FREE AGAIN!!!
I typically don't leave reviews but my experience with these shoes are nothing short of a miracle! My suffering goes back to last November when I ended up hurting my heel. I was told it was plantar fasciitis. I tried everything from massages to stretches to braces/foot bands and nothing worked. I ended up compensating for how I would step on that foot because the pain was unbearable. It hurt to stand, it hurt to take a step. I walked like I was 100 years old. 1 excruciating painful step at a time - it was truly awful.I saw a friend sporting these new shoes she had just purchased and I said it looks so cushiony and bouncy. She said that they were like walking on a cloud and that she had just purchased them because she's on her feet all day at work and at the end of the day she would always have horrible foot pain so she decided to buy these shoes. She mentioned that her feet no longer felt tired and that she no longer has any foot pain so I looked up the company and reviewed their shoes and knew I had to try them. What's the worst that could happen that hadn't happened already with other products that didn't work, right? This was going to be a "big" purchase as I typically don't spend $155 on a pair of sneakers and especially if they didn't hold up to their claims but I was desperate for some relief. I measured my feet so that I would hopefully get the perfect fit. I measured 10.5 inches from heel to the longest part of my toe (measured standing). A chart online said if your foot was 10.5" then you should order a women's size 11. I also have wide feet but my friend does not yet she ordered the wide for added comfort and said they weren't too big but perfectly roomy which lead me to think that I should order the extra wide since she would normally be a regular width. So 11 X-Wide it was. First, these shoes arrived faster than the quoted delivery time frame. I ordered on Monday and had them on Wednesday (I was quoted at least a week)! Anyway, there it was. Like opening this golden box that was going to fix all of my problems (well at least foot related problems). I opened them up and found 2 sets of inserts. After carefully reading what each one was for, I opted for the high arch correction (I never thought I had an arch issue but it was the thickest most cushiony one so I went for it!). I figured if it were too uncomfortable, I could always swap back.Next morning, the big day to try them for the entire day. I put them on and went to work and boy was there a spring in my step...more like a bounce! They felt great! Now, for the heel pain, at first around the arch area it felt a little painful but this was nothing like the heel pain. this pain actually felt pleasant. It was the kind of pain that felt like a deep tissue massage or pressure point massage. It felt good because somehow it felt like that pain meant that the shoe was doing something to help correct the problem...or at least I hoped! Anyway, I didn't give it too much thought. I noticed there was this "good" pain but better yet, I noticed that there wasn't the bad pain! Before wearing these shoes, any time I'd go from a seated position to having to stand up, or from waking up from sleep and taking that first step, there was so much pain that I would have to compensate or hop just to get a few steps in before I could muster up the courage to step on that foot.Okay, so the entire work day went great. I had no problem going from seated to standing, wasn't compensating too much but still wasn't sure I could fully put my entire weight on that heel so I was still a bit careful. I went home kicked off the shoes and put on my regular slippers and noticed there wasn't so much pain. I thought surely after I wear some other shoe that my heel pain would be there but it really wasn't...yet. When I went to bed, I did some foot stretches like I had done every night to try and correct the problem. This time when I stretched there was no pain except for when I stretched sideways towards the arch. That was the only stretching position that hurt. All the other stretches were pain free! I kept stretching through the pain a few times then went to bed.Now comes the miracle! I didn't need to go to work the next day so I didn't really want to put on the sneakers just to wear around in the house (and in this hot weather) but if I had horrible heel pain, I was ready to do it. I put on my everyday slippers and carefully proceed to step and nothing. so I took another step and nothing, and then a few more and nothing! I had no pain!! The heel pain was gone!! Well...it was 90% gone to be fair but when you've had that kind of pain for 8 months straight and now only having 10% pain was like a miracle! The entire day kept getting better and better. I certainly thought that within a few hours that I would be pushing my luck and would need to put on these sneakers but the pain never came back and in fact the 10% was slowly decreasing too.Today is the second day of wearing my slippers and I can honestly say that I no longer am compensating my weight on that foot or how I walk, I no longer have the pain (only what feels like residual discomfort but I'd have to really pay attention to even notice that), I can go from seated to standing without even giving it a second thought and without crying like a baby. I don't know what else to say other than THANK YOU to the person who designed these shoes and to Gravity Defyer for giving me my comfort back!! I 100% recommend these shoes to anyone suffering from heel pain. In fact, my sister has the same problem but she has had it for 2 years now and I just ordered her a pair for her birthday! She can't believe that I no longer have pain. It was so miserable before and now I'm me again!! I will definitely wear these shoes to work as they are super comfortable and it overall feels like it's doing something good for your feet!

These help with back pain!
First off I love these shoes! I have many name brand shoes that say they have back and knee support but they do not, these actually help! I have two fractured disc in lower back and other shoes kill my back. These actually help! I can stand and walk longer without pain! If you have back pain you will not regret getting these just remember they tell you you may feel pain the first two weeks as your body gets back in alignment. I had discomfort for about three days then nothing! Wear them a few hours for a couple of weeks to help ‘break them in’ but it’s worth it. I’ve even given as gifts. Helped my knee pain too.

SIZING & RETURNS questionable
These shoes are very hard to fit. I usually wear an 8 1/2 but ended up having to go all the way to a 9.5. Also just the regular shoe is very wide. Also the return on these shoes is not good. You cannot return them to Amazon. You have to box them up in the original box And can only return if it’s like new condition and then they will decide on the refund amount. Very risky. Unfortunately with Amazon I don’t know how you can figure out what the return requirements are when you buy things or maybe I just don’t look hard enough. But I’m going to start trying to figure it out because I’m not going to buy from companies that I have to return through them because so many products now are questionable in quality versus their price.

Love them BUT
I purchased these in August and if I could sleep in them I would. Most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I can wear them all day and be on my feet all day with no foot pain. I have had plantar fasciitis in both feet and surgery on both but the pain has always been there till I got these shoes.BUT... the tongue in left shoe was not sewn in good and has come completely out so I am having to take it off several times a day and realine which is a pain in the neck!! I have contacted seller and am waiting to hear back but it has been over 30 days so not holding out much hope. I would buy them again but as soon as I got them I would check for signs of defect before the 30 days were up.

Perfect
When I began to walk seriously I developed plantar fasciitis. After a lot of research I bought Gravity Defiers. The shoes were SO comfortable and the pain was gone in a couple of weeks. I don’t know why but I then tried New Balance, Soucony, and Vionics. They were all ok. No PF pain but still sore feet. This time I bought Gravity Defiers again and they are just amazing. No pain or soreness at all. I’ll never but another brand again. A bit more expensive but so worth it.

Helped with foot pain
I’ve had this show for two years and when I bought them I was in excruciating pain. It’s been 2 years my foot pain is virtually gone and although I still get some from being so active at work it is no where near what it was. The shoes have held up nicely through the nearly two years I’ve had them . They are now exhibiting wear and tear inside the heels and a few tears on the outside near where your pinkie toes sit on the outside side of the shoe but the holes aren’t all the way thru to the inside . All in all for being worn daily day in and down out in a warehouse and for being worn in general this long they have done their job and held up well. Would def buy again !

Love them. Great support.
The shoes were very rigid at first and I was a bit bummed about that, but an insert with the shoes mentioned that they would be and to increase their use over time to loosen them up. I did that and now they’re great. Wonderful for my arthritic knees. Love them.

Amazing
Honestly the most comfortable shoes I have worn ! Forgiving, comfortable, supportive, and make walking pain free which has been a long time coming for me.I have had problems with plantar fascitiis which has healed but I am still careful, and have a tendency to sore achilles and random ankle pain, so I really need a shoe with good heel support and a forgiving walking experience.I have always gone for Skechers and they’ve been ok, but these are on another level to be honest. The other bonus is that because of the removable insoles they will take my custom-made orthotics (as will my Merrell Moab walking shoes) which Skechers won’t, and they also come with two pairs of interchangable insoles and an insole to improve the fit if you need it.I have already ordered another pair !The only downside is that the variety of colours is quite limited in some sizes, and this brand is hard to find outside of Amazon unless you want to pay shipping charges from the US, but frankly I am not bothered about colour because my feet love them !

Fit like a comfy glove
So far so good. In my job I stand still for long periods, maybe a small step back and forth but barely moving. So 2 shifts down and the reduced pain in my knees from wearing these is really noticeable. Yes my feet still ache some, but not as much as before and this is only after wearing them for two 11 hour shifts. I was dubious spending so much money on a pair of trainers, but so glad I did.

Comfy shoes that are unusable after short time
The media could not be loaded. The shoes were the most comfortable I've had and I was very happy with the purchase. They reduced pains I had and I loved walking in them.Sadly within a very short time of just daily walking the side material started coming off and then within 2 months the inside material came off as well which revealed some plastic that cracked and broke the skin on my foot causing me bleeding and blisters.I also felt like there was some gravel inside the shoes (see the video). This is from the sole on both shoes. No idea what is it.These are very expensive shoes and they lasted the shortest than any other shoes I've ever had. I gave 2 stars because they genuinely felt great and comfortable. I am very disappointed with the cheap quality and I can't believe shoes like these can become unusable so easily. I bought them after a pair of good other shoes started wearing off but after 3 years of daily walking.

It’s helped me a lot with pain I had on my foot
I have been suffering with planter fasciitis for a while now and have bought so many pairs of shoes but none of them helped as much as these ones have.I would recommend it to anyone suffering with this condition to try them.

Allow time to adjust to new walking gait
Pain relief for tendonitis in foot.Well structured and fits well. Good support and great heal downward pressure absorption when walking. Excellent range of width fittings. I chose a wide fitting to allow toe spread. Bought a size up from normal fitting and fits well. Along with several other reviews I would say sizing a littleon the small side for UK market. I’m normally a size 4 (37) UK and purchased size 5 (38) and they were perfect.
