BRIGHTLINES Aero Roof Rack Cross Bars Luggage Rack Replacement for 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 2024 2025 Subaru Forester (NOT Fit Wilderness)

We used these to mount a yakima skybox for a trip cross country. Installation was relatively easy but could get frustrating if you regularly install and remove them. They look way better than any thule/yakima bars due to their low profile, but I wouldn't expect them to be as strong. With or without the skybox they created zero noise that was noticeable within the car(forester). As for durability we have only had them a year but they are holding up just fine with no noticeable issue. I was a bit worried about their strength so we filled the box with bulky lighter weight items. The skybox weighs about 50 lbs and I would say we added about another 50-100 lbs of gear. Keeping the weight at or under the 150 lb limit they performed just fine with no noticeable flexing or strain. Considering they cost a fraction of the price, carry the same recommended weight, and look better than Thule/Yakima. I am super pleased with them.

2022 Forester, Great fit, 15 minute install. Helps to have a little stepladder or something when tightening in place.

Installed on 2020 Subaru Forester. Easy installation with the factory low profile design. High enough to clear the “communication fin” on the back of the roof. Only holds 150 pounds but should suffice for a couple snowboards. Much cheaper than Subaru brand with the same look.

I’ve had these crossbars on my roof rack for nearly one year now. They are working beautifully. They are still solid, not fading from the sun, are sturdy, good looking, and don’t produce any wind noise! They aren’t the least expensive crossbars, but in my estimation are well worth the investment. 5 stars!

Super easy to install! I was worried about difficulty/ clarity of instructions, but they were super easy to follow. Seems really sturdy for a snowboard rack to clamp onto. No road noise, either, which I know is an issue with other (cheaper) brands. Low profile, and looks like the OEM subaru aero bars with being less than half the price!The one thing I needed to figure out for myself was exactly where and how far apart to space them on the existing roof rails, but that’s totally by personal preference.Super happy with these!

After quite a lot of use, these have held up great and played well with my various Yakima products (load warrior, canoe rack, kayak racks, etc). The canoe pictured is 80 lbs and these held up well for a 600 mile round trip. I was curious how these would hold up and so far, it's been good. I may upgrade to Yakima's larger stronger bars eventually, but I am confident these are a good inexpensive option that is as good as stock for most Forester owners. They won't hold the heaviest of loads, but for most people they will do just fine.I would not hesitate to recommend this product. It was easy to install, and the price was fantastic.

Goes together like a dream. Instructions were clear. Very inconspicuous. They do not lock but not too worried about them getting boosted. Yanked on them and traveled with a load and she didn't budge. Great product

Fits great, easy install. I don’t think I’ll keep them on year round because I’m not sure how well they’ll hold up in the sun or rain because the connection parts are plastic. So far so good!
