Perfect companions to the camera and makes a world of ...
Was skeptical at paying this price but worth every penny. Bought the soft release button too. Perfect companions to the camera and makes a world of difference in use. Took my Fuji to Tokyo recently and this made one handed shooting easy and comfortable, shots more stable, and no risk of dropping especially with the smooth Fuji body.Customer service is excellent as well. Clear and quick communication and were able to ship my product quicker to me just in time for my travels. Very pleased with them.Bought a cheap thumb grip too just in case this would not arrive in time and it was night and day. The Lensmate is designed precisely and is ergonomically comfortable, feels like it is actually part of the original X100T camera and not an accessory. Very glad I took the risk and bought this and definitely recommend it. Don't waste your money with the cheap options, if you get the Lensmate you will not be disappointed!

Works as advertised
Fits perfectly on the X100T and is aesthetically uniform with the black body. Only gripe is that the jog wheel is a bit cramped to use with the thumb grip on. Nonetheless, it is usable and greatly improves handling of the camera.

Great grip enhancer
This, in my opinion is a tad pricey........but....it transforms this camera into something that it wasn't before......comfortable to use. It's a quality product that fits and works well. So, I guess that means it's worth it.

This is a bargain price for the quality
I debated on this for weeks because of the price point (I'm usually pretty compulsive ;)This is a must have for the X100. I have a $150 RRS grip and this thumb grip. I would use either by itself equally, but would never be without at least one of them. The build quality and placement of the rubber pads and grip portions are precision, flawless and well thought out. It is always easy to get on and off but will never slip off when mounted or scuff the finish on the camera.Having purchased and used it, I consider this a definite bargain for the functionality it adds.

And it is easy to remove to mount a flash
The thumb grip makes the X100T much easier to handle and more stable when taking pictures. It fits tightly with no screws to tighten or mar the camera finish. The only downsides are that it takes up the hot shoe and sits right above the rear wheel. It doesn't block it, but it is snug. And it is easy to remove to mount a flash. In my view it significantly improves the cameras ergonomics.

it gets in the way of the wheel right underneath it and is annoying enough for me that I returned it
I have a similar thumb grip for my x100s and it helps balance the camera well. This one, for the x100t is balances well and is well made. However for me, it gets inthe way of the wheel right underneath it and is annoying enough for me that I returned it.Too bad but unless it is modified, I'll do without.

Finally pulled the trigger on buying this, don't regret it at all.
I saw this on the Ken Rockwell review of my Fujifilm X100T 16 MP Digital Camera (Silver) early on and knew I'd want it eventually. The fit is perfect and it stays in well. I went with black because of the reports that the silver version doesn't match perfectly with the OEM color and it looks superb. I find that I have many fewer blurry photos with this grip installed, especially in low light situations.I picked this up along with a Fuji X100T Grip-Case Pro BLACK by J.B. Camera Designs - Made in USA (Fits X100S & X100) before a European vacation and it's already paid for itself in comfort and convenience. In what was more or less a two-week street photo safari, I felt as comfortable shooting the five hundredth photo of the day as I did the first photo with those two pieces installed. For what it's worth, I waffled for months over whether to get this, especially based on the price. I try not to dock stars for economics, but it would be great if it could be just a little bit more cost-effective. That said, it's cheaper than physical therapy or surgery for a messed up hand from rocking your basic camera all day.

Expensive, but worth it
Don't be tempted by cheap versions. I originally purchased a cheap thumb grip for like $10, and when I say "cheap" I mean "cheap". It barely fit and bent, so right into the garbage it went, and I got this instead.A little bit of rubber on the inside allows it to fit perfectly in the hot shoe, without the need for a set screw. There's also a small patch of rubber for your thumb, adding a bit more security. I have a silver X100T, but I purchased a black thumb grip, and I like the contrast.
