This is functionally a 5 star product for sure. But the execution was 3 star at best, thus the 4 star rating. I’m a big fan of the finished product, but getting there was challenging. This was installed on a 2017 Promaster 3500 conversion with an aftermarket Kenwood head unit. I wired the camera’s power wire to the stereo’s ignition wire (so I could take advantage of the Kenwood’s switchable rear-view-while-driving function to check on the bikes) and ran the reverse switch wire off of the Kenwood to the reverse light wire under the driver’s side rocker panel. Easy peasy.Everything about this kit is great: packaging, camera quality, fit, styling (looks factory), wiring harness, etc. Super high quality.Where it fell flat was with the mounting hardware. It did not come with the proper screws for remounting to the van. It was also missing the gasket between the van body and the camera body. You’ll need to purchase two, 3 1/2”, #8 pan head sheet metal screws to properly install this unit. I have no clue what the included hardware was supposed to do. Completely useless for the application. Be sure to either buy some 1/8” foam / neoprene rubber gasket material or a tube of clear silicone to make a gasket. The kit did not come with anything to seal the connection between the van and the camera body, and this is an absolute must!If the manufacturer of this product reads this review, please make everyone’s lives easier and supply the kit these suggested items.

Installation went smoothly. just run the one cable from front to back, tap into power and ground wires behind the dash, plug everything in and you are good to go. Camera works well even in the dark with the IR lights. installed with a Sony XAV head unit. Do wish you could remove the red yellow green lines as my head unit lets you overlay your own.

Product works really great and is very clear use it for my work van and gives me the peace of mind when I am backing up in tough spaces with its birds eye view I definitely recommend this product.
