This is a great hammock chair. It’s soft, stretchy and sturdy. It makes me lose all sense of time and space. I am 5’2” and if I scoot down far enough I can almost laying down flat, with a slight tilt for my head which is sort of like an invisible pillow. There’s a lot of slack that hangs over my head but it’s high up and doesn’t fall in my face. Conversely, I can sit up in it and have my legs fully stretched out in front of me. There are quite a few positions that are very comfortable, making this a very versatile product.I use it on a stand outside that has adjustable height which works great for me as I don’t like being too low to the ground, which happens with a lot of the hammocks chairs due to the height of the item and the stretch once I sit in it.This chair rocks very nicely, I wasn’t sure I’d like because I have issues in which I get very nauseated due to motion, but with the hammocks it’s not been an issue. It makes me feel like what babies like so much about their swings and bouncy chairs. I also have horrendous insomnia and I’ve fallen asleep in this many times, which I feel could be related to the rocking motion. I’ve had this for almost a month (June/July) in the South, which brings high, stuffy, stagnant humidity and scorching heat and I’ve still fallen asleep in this. Can’t wait to sleep in this when fall rolls around.The spreader bar looks and feels durable and sturdy, as it’s very thick and stained in a very beautiful colour. I choose to bring mine in every day, as it’s been raining a lot and I don’t want to have to wait for it to dry or find out if it molds easily. Additionally, I don’t want to find I’m unknowingly sharing this with any critters.The one thing that I don’t particularly care for is the colour. I bought beige which to me means off white but this leans heavily towards brown, which I don’t care for. That is my only negative about this hammock chair.Overall it’s a beautiful hammock, that’s affordable, extremely comfortable and seems to be a high quality product that checks all my boxes, with the only exception being the colour.If you’re on the fence, go for it. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.Hope this helps.

Love it! It is very comfortable and seems sturdy so far. Had it for a month with my kids playing on it everyday.

I’ve gone through several hammock chairs over the years. This one was cheap enough and it’s very comfortable. What can I say these chairs as a rule are very comfortable. As long as you take it out of intense rain, storms I think it will do fine. We had a sprinkling last night and I just flipped the bottom over it to dry out and it’s good to go. In Florida my chairs take a beating with the sun and that degrades the fiber so it’s very important to, hook them up when you’re gonna sit in I’m not to leave them out all the time. I had to adopt my granddaughter for several years and she had some emotional issues. I put one of these swings out back and called her thinking chair. After a year of going to the thinking chair to chill out after school, etc. I heard her talking to Nature and telling the universe that she loved her life. When she first came to me, she would say very negative things like she wishes she weren’t here and why did this happen to me, etc. I really think it contributed to her emotional well-being. Sorry that’s a tangent but being in nature is very important and these chairs make it very easy

If you need me, I’ll be in this hammock all summer! It’s my new favorite - Easy to hang, and feels strong. Works as a hammock chair or to full stretch out and take a nap. I’m 5’4” and can stretch all the way out and so can my husband who is 6’. Looks great and doesn’t take up much room

I ordered this hammock after visiting an airbnb that had one. I loved the blue color and it appeared very close to the one I tried out on vacation. After having it for about a month, I feel I can say that it has exceeded my expectations. The fabric is soft and stretchy, so you can sit in it a variety of ways. Sometimes I just sit upright and swing, and other times I stretch my legs out and just chill. I'm sure it will dry rot at some point, but so far the price and use I've gotten out of it has been totally worth it. I will definitely buy another one when this one wears out. I might even convince my husband to let me get a second one for the other end of my porch.

I now have a great place for my new hammock chair. And will admit (due to its comfort) I’ve fallen asleep in it several times while reading a book. I covers all the bases: well made, comfortable, looks nice, and it’s fun to own.

Well worth it! Thinking of purchasing a second one.
