Works Like it is Meant to.
Using it on a HP laptop with Display port out to two AOC 22" monitors. Bought two HDMI to DVI cables to connect my monitors to this. Only pain is that if you let the laptop go to sleep, you have unplug and re plug the display port end to send signal out to monitors again.tried it with lid open and closed, each has its delays getting the signal back to monitors. There may be a quicker way to go about this like never letting the laptop fall asleep, but till then, I consider this product a must have.

Easy To Use Splitter Dongle for Extra Monitors
Adding peripherals can be a frustrating activity. The Belkin Display Port to 2x HDMI Splitter Dongle makes adding additional displays easy. This can be extremely useful for the home office user who desires additional monitor workspace. It can also be used to split to a projector or mirroring a screen for teaching purposes. No complicated driver installations are required - just plug in and go!

Do not buy this, it does not do what you think it does.
Another review is flat-out wrong. That review says:" Will this permit two monitors to attach to one laptop and display two different views - for example Excel on 1st monitor and Word on 2nd monitorAnswer:Yes. That''s the whole idea. An your mouse cursor will move from one screen to the next as if the two screens were one."That is not what this thing did. It just took the image from my laptop screen and displayed two more copies of it, one on each external monitor. The product description is just vague enough to leave this part out, and at least one review is flat out false.

Not sure if it's my setup or if it's this adapter, but it is not stable. My screens keep flickering out/black. I normally have to unplug a few times before it connects, even though I have a profile default to dual external screens on my laptop.

DP to dual HDMI works fine, but awfully pricey.
This works fine. I've tested it on both a MacBook Pro (2013 model) and a desktop with an NVidia 750 card, and it works fine with both dual 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 monitors. I mention the last because I don't know that the limit is in terms of resolution maximums but I don't think I got near it. I should point out that while I did some graphics extensive things with it, I didn't go any 3D gaming. However, I was given product for free to review as a Vine reviewer, and I'm not sure I'd pay the Belkin price for it. It doesn't feel especially well made and there are far less expensive alternatives out there that I suspect will do just as well. Belkin is interesting: some of their products are very well made and worth paying for, and then others are so clearly not worth it that I find myself thinking "How did they think they could get this price for this product?" For that reason, I'm always skeptical about in which category any Belkin product falls unless I know.

Very sturdy and doesn't detach easily from the ports
Simple to use. Very sturdy and doesn't detach easily from the ports. The dongle is small enough to stuff in my purse to use for powerpoint presentations when I travel across the city. Used with my Mac and a large screen television. Five stars!

Easily split your video connection
I've been trying to figure out an easy way to split the video output connection from my Windows-based desktop computer into two without having to add an additional graphics card or other internal peripherals. I plugged the corded end of this dongle into my desktop's Display Port input and plugged two HDMI monitors into the dongle's two HDMI ports. Within a couple seconds, the dongle was recognized and I was able to see the screen.Setup was very simple and the results seem to be just what I was looking for. This seems like a good product, and I would recommend it. As Amazon's product page shows, they also have other versions of the product, to split/convert various ports to other types of ports.
