I'd give it five stars if our four year old could undo the magnetic clasp by himself. It is a strong magnet... too strong for him at this point, or at least he can't seem to figure it out yet. On the plus side, because it is very elastic, he is able to pull his pants down or back up without releasing the clasp and they do help his pants stay up.

Big Kids Adjustable Elastic Belt - Made in USA  I really like this product because my son can easily undo his belt and refasten it also. My son has poor fine motor skills and although he is 9, he could not get a regular belt unbuckled or fastened on his own, sometimes this was a big problem and caused embarassing situations for him. The only problem I have with it is that it does not come in a larger size (he wears 10-12 pants size) so it squeezes his waist a little tight.

It's ok, but the metal looks a little rusty and the magnet part is kinda too hard for my 4 year old to pull apart. However, because of the elastic, he can just pull his pants down without undoing the belt.

I bought this for my son because he had a difficult time using a regular belt. I wanted him to be able to be comfortable at school and not worry about using the restroom.

I bought these belts ( I also purchased the camel colored one) for my 4 yr old son. The buckles are made of stamped metal with a block of magnet either cemented or soldered into the male piece. I can not tell which method. While the idea is great, the execution I feel leaves something to be desired. I wish the buckles had been lacquered or enamel baked. Something to add a more polished feel and look to the whole thing. And because the buckles are made with stamped metal, the edges on the buckle loops are rough which makes adjusting the width a clumsy affair. The beige belt came with a locking snap with teeth to adjust width while the black one came with a simple double loop slide for adjusting width. While I feel the overall construction is clumsy and sloppy, it does feel sturdy. Guess I'll never know because I'm sending them back. I loved that these were made in the USA. So sad to have to send them back.

My Son is 6 and this is an easy belt for him to wear to school. We've got them in several colors now.

It's pretty good for my 6 year old.. he feels this much easier than a buckle.. the elastic belt is good fits my waist too 😀

I purchased this belt for my first grader to wear with his school uniform as belts are required. The belt itself is okay but the magnetic clasp is way too strong for him to easily undo it.
