Eddie Bauer - Queen Blanket, Lightweight Cotton Bedding, Home Decor for All Seasons (Herringbone Green, Queen)

I love this blanket. I got the queen size for my full size bed. It looks more like a bedspread than a blanket. The herringbone pattern is vey pretty. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know about shrinkage, but it should be fine since I got the larger size. It's a nice weight for summer, which is what I was going for. I would highly recommend this blanket.

These come beautifully wrapped with a ribbon in a bow! A surprise. I was having 2 house guests and bought 2 -- they made a lovely presentation. Nice light-weight quality and good value.

The reviews and product description warned this blanket sheds, and it does shed ... A LOT during the first wash.I wiped out my washer and had a small ball about the size of a ping pong ball.This photo however is what my lint trap had. I put a tennis ball next to it for scale, because it was a LOT.I've yet to wash it a second time, and will be curious to see how much comes off then. I'll probably add to this review when I know what it does after each wash going forward.I ordered green, and a twin size for my son who is a hot sleeper and was definitely sweating too much and not getting restful sleep when he would dive down and next underneath a kids poly filled comforter from target. This blanket with a flat sheet, has made a significant (breathable) difference for him when he sleeps hot. The blanket is a great size to properly make a tucked bed (ie. Hospital corners) which also helps prevent the nesting under a blanket 💁I purchased this blanket for a good price point, and I know Eddie Bauer clothing is quality, so I figured a blanket would be the same. Good quality, but the shedding is definitely a bit off putting. So 4/5 stars.

Our second blanket. Our first came from Macy's several months ago. Our adult and younger children are happy with the comfort and colors of the blanket. Our second blanket ordered thru Amazon just arrived, its the same quality feel, texture, and comfort. This blanket works perfectly as a bed spread. Looks great for the boys room. The sisters love it as well. Whether a mariner, beach goer, hunter, or sports guy, it works! Not too hot or too cold. Seasonably acceptable for all seasons! Tight weave won't pill, pull, or snag!

Love this blanket. I recently purchased two of them to go with three similar ones we've had for years. The 90"x90" are perfect for Queen size beds. They are a medium weight blanket. Just the ticket to go under our bed spread or for use as a stand-alone bed cover over your sheets. Soft, warm, utilitarian, with the comfort of quality. Hard to beat that. If the time ever arrives when we need more blankets, I know where to come.OF NOTE: Wash this blanket by itself for its first wash. It leaves a copious amount of lint in both the washer & dryer. It WILL clog your dryer vent screen. Just wipe out the wash tub & clean your dryer vent every few minutes while it's in the dryer. The attached photos show me cleaning the dryer vent 4 separate times, not 4 photos of just one incident!

SHRINKS - A LOT. Bought the twin sizes (2) to use as a top spread to bottom of mattress. It shrank 6 inches on the width !! so still had to put another cover underneath to use. If you are using for a top outer layer go up one size to accommodate shrinkage. Had already washed it and wasn't sure about how to return. BE CAREFUL WITH LINT IN DRYER. Had to clean lint 8 times while initial drying. Texture and weight is good. Looks Good. Did not have trouble with pulling threads, but doesn't look like it would hold up to pets and children.

I like this blanket alot. It's not heavy. Let's my skin breath. It seems to me that it's more like a glorified throw. My photos show it in natural daylight and at night with ambient lamplight. My husband is a bit hot blooded and he likes it because our microfiber and polyester comforters made us both hot and i'm not hot blooded but I do get hot flashes. So far, no hot flashes at night. Maybe it helps as the blanket is thin as well.I really like the weave. That's what caught my attention initially. We have had it about a month and it looks the same. No unraveling or tearing. No pills. Will return for more Eddie Bauer products.

This blanket washes terrible, the lint was so thick in my dryer, and I had to sweep the floor and had lint all over my house. My pants were loaded with lint just carrying it upstairs for one minute after the second wash. Do not buy!
