Up [DVD] [2009]

Loved the movie in 3D, but be warned - the 3D disc is the only Region A disc in this set. The 2D version and the bonus disc are region B, unplayable on most U.S. machines. If you don't have a region-free player, 2 out of 3 discs are useless.

I love this movie however, the DVDE did not function in the US it was apparently formatted for the UK. Not very smart on the sellers part. I was given fulll credit from AMAZON without question.

Why dusty rooms? 'Cause you'll need an excuse for the watery eyes. It's a fantastic movie with a lot to love but there are parts of the story that require a tissue.The quality of the UHD 4k disc is fantastic on even an older 65" HD10 display. No issues with any of the audio streams.

I saw this movie some years back but it was overpriced for years. It used to be $30 just for the DVD. Glad to see that the price has come down. Looks and sounds great in 4K as well.

The item description states "Region Free", yet the DVD does not play in the US.My refund request was denied by the seller with the comment "It appears that you are trying to play a DVD that is the wrong region, which is where the problem has occurred. The item you ordered is Region 2/B therefore it can only be played on a European or multi region player. This information can be seen in our comments section and on the product details of the listing page."So it appears "Region Free" really means the DVD can be planed on a region free player, not that the DVD is region free.

My wife passed last September (2020)We always enjoyed these kinds of movies together even though we didn't have kids of our ownWe watched this one oftenI had bought a Projector that has a 3D mode after she passed as if a gift from her and wanted this to be the first one since we watched it in the theater in 3DLoved itmy wife would have loved both this movie and the projector

Great movie!Forgot how many sad moments there are...I just wanted to post up that I bought the 4k version and the blu-ray disk that came with it played totally fine in my machine.I was worried about all the blu-ray reviews saying it wouldn't play in people's machines...SO just an FYI..Great movie!

I bought a used 3D TV this year (2018) and I absolutely love it. It's such a shame 3D tvs are no longer being made. Anyway, if you have a 3D TV you should absolutely buy the movie Up in 3D. The 3D depth adds allot to the experience. Falling off clifs, flying in the air, looking Up or looking down from the floating house in 3D. The cityscapes and rain forest look amazing in 3D. This is a must have 3D movie. Only problem with this purchase is, only the 3D blu ray disc is truly region free, the other discs are region B and won't play on US players.
