IC International Concepts Hampton Square Coffee Table, 36 in W x 36 in D x 18 in H, Unfinished

I ordered this table on Amazon after a long search for a new coffee table that would fit my new couch and was within my budget. I finally found this table and the the ability to paint/color the table to my liking really attracted me. The fact that the wood is unfinished and ready for painting is great. I did a bit of research and decided to paint the legs with a white latex paint (I used a Rustoleum semi-gloss paint) and decided to stain the surface and bottom shelf with a Minwax wood stain in classic grey. The box is enormous and it weighs about 70 lbs- the box was a bit damaged but everything inside was fine. It came with all of the hardware to put together the table in a red bag, and a instruction pamphlet. I wiped the table free of dust before painting it (I decided to skip primer, but it's recommended) and painted about 2 coats. For the wood stain I did about two coats as well, letting it dry in between coats. There are parts of the wood where the wood stain didn't stain/ it wasn't even everywhere, so there are imperfections (it's possible priming it would fix this, but I'm not entirely sure). After drying for about a day I added a polyurethane finish to the surface top and the bottom shelf which took off a bit of the stain, but it still looked great. Being able to customize the table to your liking really elevates the table. I also decided to get a glass pane cut to the size of the surface top to protect the table from water and damage because I do plan on eating on this table. I think the glass pane complements the table, and it's a great investment. Only downside to the table is when putting together the table, because the top of the legs (where it meets the surface top of the table) weren't entirely even/leveled, when putting in the screws the wood of one of the legs cracked a bit on the outside... but thankfully it's near the top so you can't see it. Just a warning though, when you put the table together to be careful and aware. Overall, I'm really satisfied with the table and how it turned out, and the price point is very reasonable.

I absolutely love this table. We've had a hard time finding tables that fit our style, sectional, living room decor, and budget-- this was it! The table is the perfect size for what we needed, and it's solid. In fact, it is probably one of the most sturdy pieces of furniture I have. The box it came in was pretty banged up, in fact our UPS guy didn't even want to leave it figuring the item would likely be damaged and offered to just load it back up and have it returned. I told him I'd take it check it out first. There was surprisingly no damage to any of the pieces, they were in fact wrapped quite well inside of the box. All parts were included along with assembly instructions. The instructions contained more pictures than words, which can sometimes lead to guessing games, but if you can pay attention to detail and have a some common sense then it's a piece of cake. We put the whole thing together in about 20 minutes, and it probably does require 2 people given that the pieces, as mentioned, are solid and heavy. It would be a real challenge for someone to hold up a piece with one hand while trying to get all the screws in place. The table comes unfinished, and it looks lovely just the way it is but it also gives you the opportunity to be as creative as you want and really make it flow with your space. I did not like that it meant I had to wait an additional 3 days to start using it, but I like that I was really able to style it according to my hearts desire, and can easily change it later on if I want. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering the purchase!

My first delivery was broken- see photos- but Amazon was great and sent me a replacement and arranged for the broken package to be picked up. The most frustrating part of that experience was trying to get everything back in the package once it was all out, because I didn't note how they packaged it in the first place so I wasn't great at fitting it all back IN to the box.The second delivery was intact. Based on some of the photos here, I decided to stain and urethane the flat parts and paint the sides white. I used leftover stain and urethane from a recent flooring project and I absolutely love the outcome. There are some imperfections in the wood that didn't take the stain no matter how much I sanded or left the stain on, used extra layers, etc. but I think it adds to the character of the table. I actually used the cardboard box the table came in to lay the table on top of while I was staining it in my garage, it worked out nicely.This table is solid and was very easy to put together. My only other gripe besides the initial broken delivery was that the hardware bag was open and almost half of the items were not floating around in the box. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase about $6 worth of replacement hardware. All in all this table was well worth the issues because the finished product is just amazing. It works so well in my space!

I’ve been looking for an unfinished table for so long, this same table was $30 more at my local hardware store, and several other places online even $50 more. This table is super solid, I was concerned it wouldn’t be but it truly is. I plan on staining it just haven’t got around to that yet but I am super pleased with this purchase. Easy to put together

This was the easiest coffee table I have put together! It’s definitely bigger than I thought and the color is different from the picture. However it goes perfectly with my decor. Would definitely buy more from this company

Love this table, its axactly what I was looking for to do the farmhouse style. I used mineax provisional on top and linen white chalk paint at home depot for the legs and bottom shelf. If you're only staining the top i suggest getting the sample size, I got the 32 oz and barely made a dent in it. 1 can of chalk paint was also more than enough and I used the remainder to paint my night tables. I also used conditioner before staining which seemed to help it go on even. The only thing I would suggest is if your looking for the sides to be the same color as on top go in with a light hand of stain. I personally love it, it gives it a rustic look but I attached pictures. But 2 size came out a little darker and the other 2 the exact color as on top.
