My grandson wanted this book to make movies. The only copies are at the school so we were unable to borrow it so I bought the book. My daughter read it before I wrapped it for Christmas and said it is exactly what he needs as it has all the information and details. I know he will love it. Just spoke to my grandson and he said the book was exactly what he and his friends were looking for. Ideas and camera angles. He rates this book five star.

I used this book for a complete learning project for a five year old. We came up with the plot, practiced writing the story using the book and even made costumes and acted out the play and filmed. My five year old read the words fine and comprehended most on his level. The customer service was also wonderful when I reached out with questions.

I gave this book to my 12 year old who also got a video camera for Christmas. The writing is good for a person this age. The dialogue is somewhat easy to follow. It is more basic knowledge and common sense type things to me, but since I'm not a director by trade, my child will actually listen to these instructions rather than mine, so it works out, ha. Overall a good basic book for beginners and tweens that don't trust that their mother's advice. :-)

My kids like to make their own movies. I thought they would roll their eyes at this and continue to do things their way, but they love it! They’re taking all the advice in the book and are planning it out first. Can’t wait to see their next movie!

Child has had a few months now and hasn't looked much at it. 🤷‍♀️

Thus book is really informative!! Both of my boy's (7&10) really enjoy making the movies! So creative and fun!! I myself had a great time too!!😃

This is perspective for my middle school students! Easy to read and easy to understand.

Totally inspired by 9 year old to make a movie - would probably be better if she was a little older, some of the things she doesn't understand.
