Bixpy Swim Jet (98 Wh or 147 Wh) - Underwater Scooter

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I purchased the Bixpy Swim Jet (SCUBA EDITION) about 2yrs ago. It is still the best sea scooter for the money to date in my opinion! I love that the motor is modular and so I can easily use the same motor on my paddle boards and kayaks. Motor is also easy to change things like propellers or intake grill and the Bixpy customer support is great. I have used the hand held Swim Jet in the northern springs of Florida, on the Key West reefs, and in my backyard saltwater canal. I film YouTube videos so this amazon video review has clips from several of my videos in which I happen to be using the swim jet. I'm not telling you to buy it...I'm just trying to show you what it can do and let you decide. I am very happy with it. My friends kids love borrowing it, but they definitely have to use two hands as it has a lot of power. It is very efficient despite such power in a small size. With mixed use I did an entire weekend Key West snorkeling trip and some diving in my backyard on one battery charge! I even had one of my friends who is nearly 300lbs and he moved pretty well with it. I weight 200lbs and felt like I could keep up with the fish. I recently got into scuba diving and started using it for that as well since it helps me conserve oxygen by not over exerting myself. In terms of maintenance I just rinse it off with freshwater (if i remember) and I put dielectric grease on the connector between motor and handeld battery. It comes with a few packets of the dielectric grease for that purpose. Overall, i'm a happy customer and I think it is the best sea scooter for the money. I was at a HUGE expo event (iCAST) in orlando and lots of the new kayaks had Bixpy motors on them. They are a pretty popular brand.Scuba Jet model has "slightly" bigger battery and "slightly" negative buoyancy for diving applications. If you let go of it then it would slowly sink. (I OWN THIS MODEL AND THAT IS WHAT IS SHOWN IN MY VIDEO/PHOTOS)Snorkel Jet model has "slightly" smaller battery than scuba edition, but has "slightly" positive buoyancy yet you can dive underwater with it. If you let go it will slowly float to the surface.

I've used my Bixpy for snorkeling in Southern California over the last 2 months. It is easy to use, holds plenty of charge, and is super fun to use! Allows me to explore whole new areas. Looking forward to the water warming up this summer!

My son and his friends played with this in our pool for the first time and it was a huge hit!!! It was hours of entertainment. They couldn’t get enough. Great wait to keep kids outdoors and have a great time
