yes, it is chicory
OK - well the green part of this plant definitely did not resemble the chicory that I have growing in my yard. It looks different, like lettuce, however in the fall it finally sprouted and they had small blue flowers that are the mark of chicory. So yes, these are chicory. It does not look at the same as the wild chicory here in California, but it is chicory. I initially thought it wasn't given all these negative reviews. Mea culpa.

Not flower seeds!!
It looked funny as it started growing, and the reason it turns out, is because it’s lettuce. Don’t buy for flowers, buy for a BLT!

Healthy seeds
Germinated fine and all I did was throw them on the ground during a rain.
