This has worked beautifully for my 93 y.o. mother who had a recent issue with edema and infection making footwear difficult to get on for ambulation. She normally wears a narrow width but this fit both the affected foot and her normal one. This soft felt material not only adjusts on the top but also the heel which was especially sensitive for her. We were able to use a variation of sock thicknesses and still have the shoe fit. The non-slip bottom was another needed feature. I highly recommend! The visiting nurses and physical therapist asked where we found these. We appreciated the quick delivery as well!

I got these for my mom who had a broken hip, then a DVT AND an ulcer on one heel. I bought these because she felt undressed in slippers when she had to go somewhere and they are perfect. Super easy to go on--even with sock and heel cup. No more digging around trying get the heel in. They are very adjustable and feel like slippers but the sole is firm and gives some support and look more like a shoe. They are non-slipping too which is extremely important.If you have someone in your life who needs a comfortable shoe/slipper, this is it. The are also washable. When my mother was in rehab all the physical therapists, aides, nurses were asking about them.I feel like this is an item worth the money and makes care-taking just a little easier.

My only complaint about this product would be a wish that it came in 1 or 2 sizes larger than it does. I bought it knowing that it would be a little small - and it was; however, it was also pretty comfortable and helpful that I could pretty much build it to fit my foot. I was able to tighten it down myself (it took a little practice) and it did help the swelling in my foot as I was wearing it. The real test, though, was whether I would wear it a second time. At the same time I bought this product I also bought another "normal" shoe...the true test was that when I was going out to an event, I chose to wear the edema slippers. They look and act enough like a normal shoe and are much more comfortable and helpful for my feet. Would I buy this product again? Would I recommend it to friends with similar problems? My answer is YES!...to both questions.

It was impossible to find shoes my mom could wear that didn’t hurt her feet, until she wore these. The ease of getting her foot into this shoe is amazing! Aside from the fact they adjust to the swelling of her feet, the comfort they provide is priceless. It’s given mom some of her dignity back. Something so simple as a pair of shoes but until you can’t find a pair that doesn’t hurt you just don’t understand. If you’ve tried everything under the sun, please give these chance. I just can’t say enough but thank you!

LIKE VELCRO which allows good adjustment across arch/instep. also the heel Velcro strap allows slight adjustment too. This means that when feet swell (or deflate) these can be adjusted to fit comfortably without digging in or sliding off. although slippers I think they have durable enough soles and slip resistant soles to be worn outside in reasonably dry weather.

I love these slippers for reasons later, but they are so very large they tend to fall of as I walk. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 in normal shoes, and suggestions recommended ordering up a size so I got a 10. For me that was not a good idea. Yes, they are adjustable (terrific), non-slip, sort of soft (but absolutely could stand some softness/padding in the inner- sole!!!) but if I had ordered a 9, they would be easier to walk in. Making them tighter so as not to fall off causes the top to rub into the tops of my feet ( upper ankle area) which is painful because I have lymphedema and cannot do that.

My feet are horribly swollen after chemo and these shoes are so perfect! You can adjust them with hook and loop on the sides, back and even front to obtain a perfect fit! The bottom sole is flexible and sturdy and perfect for inside or outside. You feel like you are walking on air and, at long last, I have comfort all day, every day! Thank you for an excellent and ingenious product!

These are great slippers (shoes) for someone who never knows from one day to the next how swollen their feet are going to be. Lots of room on top of foot for adjustment. Even adjusts at heel. A good sole on these if taking out the trash. I even walked in the snow to fill bird feeder and they repel moisture! Of course some gets in under flaps. Recommend them highly, and I’ve had to return many disappointments.
