This is the best light I have ever purchased. Definitely worth it for any use. I am able to grow potatoes, tomatoes, keep my citrus happy. Anything that you'd grow in-season. Get this light. Get some granular fertilizer and seeds. Get growing now America. Live like your great-grandparents. They keep telling us that the dream is coming to an end. The one thing they are not lying about. Your season does not have to end in November. I grow all year around. You can too!Update:One bulb has already fizzed out on one light and another now has two bulbs out. Longevity is not looking good, 2-3 months.

This thing is a total fire hazard if placed on the ground, or too close to anything I would imagine. The little bracket that's on the back of it is not substantial enough to hold it up properly, even after you tighten down the nuts. The light fell over face-first onto the ground in front of the evergreen tree I was trying to help with the grow lights. I turned it on about 8am and noticed it had fallen over about 9:30am and this is the result. Grass is burned, plastic lenses melted in the center and burnt grass is melted onto them. Thankful the yard was wet. If you buy this, you'd better be prepared to hang it somewhere and make sure it has plenty of breathing room around the lights because apparently they get hotter than I thought they did.

Love how my shady tree trunk area is no longer a problem area for my succulents. I have purchased eight of these over the last four years and yes, they only last three to four years but give me success where before I had failure. I did get a single new one shipped to me for free after I contacted customer service about numerous of them failing after three and some after four years. I'd say at this price point that it is worth it. I do have to play with the distance that is necessary for them to grow, the lights are not strong enough to place too far away.

Cord placement is not ideal but overall a great light.

I bought two of these. They are outside but under a covered awning. After six months of using them about 8 hours a day, 2 of the 3 lights in each one are burnt out. I have not yet climbed up to see what kind of replacement bulbs might be available but it disappointing they didn’t last longer. Maybe I got bad ones…

This light is perfect for my plants. It's quiet and bright. They are flourishing in their new light. Also, very easy to set up and I have it on a timer so I don't have to worry about it.
