The books for CFA Level I 2020 came within the scheduled timeframe and are brand new.

Those books are 100%new.

I read cover to cover twice. This is definitely better than Schweser as there is so much more content. If you just want to pass the exams, any CFA note will be fine. But to support the integrity of the CFA, your focus should not only be to pass the exams but to exceed what is required. I enjoyed reading these as the technical depths are thoroughly explained and leaving no holes for me to go to Investopedia to follow up the missing ideas. I strongly believe this set of books are more than sufficient to pass the exam if you put enough time to read through all of it. I recommend reading the Ethics, FRA, and Portfolio Management for last. In summary, the Schweser notes are just facts, but the CFA books put the whole picture together, giving a more enjoyable reading experience and better retention for understanding concepts.

My corporate finance and equity textbook is missing pages 113 to 144. Could I be sent these pages?

These books are terrible and will actively make you dumber. Save your money and buy the Schweser books instead. These will only make the exam harder. These are basically a collection of mathematical research papers that are impossible to understand unless you have a PhD in math. And I have a business diploma so it’s not like this is new material to me.It’s outrageous that they put out such a low quality product and then charge you $1500 for the exam. You are going to need to buy the Schweser anyways once you realize this is worthless, so save your money and go directly to them. I actually think the Institute did a poor job on this intentionally as a payoff to test prep providers, knowing you will have to pay out twice. Enjoy.

I wouldn't recommend buying it here, buy it at Barnes and Noble or somewhere else! Description says Level I Volumes 1-6 BOX SET! I was suppose to get it first day of class and now I have to return and buy somewhere else, very disappointed!!

Just count the pages and see the density of those sentences -- how many hours of serious reading do you think it will need?And is it really the best way to command all those knowledge?Of course, I get it, the author wants to cover every aspect to defend his "expert" status, but this is not what students care.There are other exam prep materials that can help students get 95% of the content using just 20% of the time -- a much better choice than this "official" textbook set, in my view.
