Awesome product for the price!
While I don't normally wear a watch, I'm really into tech gadgets. For that reason, I looked around forsomething both affordable and practical, and this is what I decided to try. This watch is a combinationof a fitness tracker and a smartwatch. I don't work out (on purpose anyway) but the heart rate monitorand step tracker come in handy, although I can't vouch for their accuracy. There's also a sleepmonitor which again, I'm not sure how accurate that is either. These features seem to be relativelyclose in their calculations. Also, there's a calorie burning meter, for those of you who actually do workout on purpose. On to the "smart" features. This watch allows you to see a preview of text messages, emails, phonecalls received and a few other apps as well. When I say "preview" I mean, you'll only see the sender'sname and maybe the first line of text. Pretty convenient. Of course you have to have the watch syncedto your phone through bluetooth for all of this to work. Another handy feature is the weather app.A couple of other cool things you can do is control the music player and camera shutter on your phone, but I haven't actually tried to use either of those things yet. Other basic things that are included area stopwatch and 3 alarms.Of course for many of these features to work, you'll need to download the "Da Fit" app to your phone, which is easy to find in the Play Store or the App Store, depending on your device. It's a pretty easyand straightforward application to use. I had no problems with it. Also in the app you can download aTON of different face displays to fit your style or need. There are DOZENS of displays to choose from, all different layouts and colors, and they're FREE.The watch itself seems very well made and is basically waterproof to a certain degree. I'm not reallygoing to test that out personally but I would feel safe in the rain anyway. At first, I really liked themesh steel strap with the magnetic clasp. However, I quickly found a couple of flaws with it. First, ittends to snag on your sleeve sometimes depending on what kind of material you're wearing. Secondly, andmore importantly, when I tried to place the charging magnet onto the watch, it mostly attached itself tothe strap instead. It was a real hassle. Luckily they include a second strap made of rubber (or whatever).I was able to put the rubber strap on there really quickly and easily. It works much better trust me.Other things to note: the display doesn't really stay on very long, about 3 seconds, unless you'renavigating the menus of course. This is probably to save battery life. Speaking of battery life, Ifully charged the watch and after a day's use it's sitting at 86% charge. Seems pretty good, we'll seehow it goes. Also, if you turn the watch towards your face, the display pops on. Not exactly sure how itdoes that but I like it. The home button is very responsive and scrolling is nice and smooth. I alsoreally like the round design of this watch. Most smart-watches these days are square shaped. This one justlooked a little more refined. Keep in mind though that the display screen is actually square.*** EDIT *** If you want to maximize the battery life, find the "quick view" setting in the app and TURN IT OFF. Your battery life will increase DRAMATICALLY!! Today, mine used a whopping 1% of the battery!!So far, so good. Seems like a bargain to me. Thanks for reading.

A value in quality and features
Disclaimer: I received this watch from UMIDIGI for a unbiased and honest review.I intended to purchase this watch to keep track of steps and heart rate. I had purchased an UMIDIGI phone, and I was impressed with its quality and decided that I would get an UMIDIGI UWatch2. Then I was offered the watch for an honest review, and I accepted the offer. The watch build quality is superb. Made of metal case, it feels solid. I am using the metal mesh band, and it is comfortable and secure. Its appearance is appropriate for most situation. It does not look like a toy as many other watches and watchbands. The watch came with two watchbands and extra pins. The watch, as described, reports steps taken and heart rate. Though I did not see in the product description, it also measures blood pressure and blood Oxygen level, a nice plus. I am not sure how accurate the blood pressure measurement is, but it seems to closer to my normal readings than other watches I had.The watch came with a number of watch faces, and was able to download a few more. One minor gripe is that there is no analog face available. Readability in sunlight varied with watch faces, but I was able to see the time in direct sun with a sunglasses on. Other information such as heart rate was more difficult in sunlight, and required a shade.I have taken showers with the watch, and there has not been any problem.Battery life-wise, I used about 12-15% per day with the highest brightness. I would feel comfortable skipping on the charge cable for short trips. The charge cable is magnetic. The magnetic polarity prevents reversing charge polarity as it would not attach in reverse charge polarity position. One minor issue with the charge cable is that the magnet can attach the charge cable to the metal watchband. It takes a second or two to make sure the magnet does not attach to the metal watchband. Obviously, this is not a problem with the silicone watchband. The software-wise, Da Fit was installed from Google Play Store, which I like. I feel uncomfortable when an app is downloaded from some unknown website. Da Fit does not require an account. I have a mixed feeling on this as I like that my information is kept by a vendor, but it also means that it does not integrate with Google Fit or other system.Notifications work as expected. There are a set of apps ready for notifications (ex: Facebook), and if for apps without notification setting (Email), I can select "other", which is every notification. Music control is simple and works. However, I could not get the weather function to work. It says that it is not connected to the phone though other functionalities work with the app.I wanted a quality smart watch that I can wear in different environment. I wanted to tell time in darkness and in sun. I wanted to keep track of my heart rate throughout a day. I wanted enough of water resistance for a normal daily activities. I did not want to charge it everyday. UWatch2 met all of my requirement. I tried other watches such as MiBand and MiBand2, but each of them fell short of my satisfaction. There are some improvements and upgrades I would like with UWatch2, but obviously, a function such as GPS would increase the price and reduce the battery life. For $30, I am well satisfied with UWatch2, and I would happily spend more for more advanced features on a future UMIDIGI watch.

I WAS Happy With This Watch
In less than six months, my watch has died. It won't take a charge or power on. I've contacted Umidigi tech support, so I'll update this when they get back to me. Other reviews tell me not to expect much. ------------------ First Review shortly after buying ------------------I almost decided to return this watch when I opened the package because it appeared to have been returned previously. But I decided to check it out, and I'm glad I did. I'm picky about wearing a watch, and I found this one to be comfortable on my wrist. I like the metallic band and the magnetic clasp, although I don't think it would fit someone with really big wrists. You can choose the face you prefer from several options. I like the step counter. I like receiving text messages and the heart rate monitor. The battery is phenomenal - I charged it the night I opened the box, and ten days later it's still half charged. I tried wearing it while sleeping, and I didn't trust the sleep tracking feature. I thought I slept better than it reported, and it doesn't compare with my wife's Fitbit for that. I think this is a great watch for the price. It can probably do more than I've tried, but I'm not familiar with mobile apps for the watch.

over all a good. watch. I do find I need to twist a bit more than I would normally do to get the screen to come on.
