Good solid plastic, I did hide the key though because I don't think it would take much to snap!Granddaughter loves it.....especially her dollar-bucks!

Excellent Toy Till
The best toy till you will ever own! Sturdy, well made and most important my little girl loves it! Worth every penny. The money it comes with isn’t great as it wouldn’t really help her learn but I bought some else where that’s more realistic so it’s not an issue. The scanner is fun and the screen it clear to read. 5 Stars

Great toy shopping trolleys
I bought a couple of these to go with a toy shop. My two year old grandchildren love them. Perfect height for them to push around and not heavy enough to hurt them if they fall over. Very easily put together in a couple of minutes. So far, very pleased with the purchase. I did consider wood or metal toy trolleys but didn’t want damage to my furniture when the inevitable bumps happen.
