I purchased these over other similar items because they looked to be slightly longer, however they are just as small. They measure just under 5" from tip to end which puts the strap right over the bunion, which find uncomfortable.

I have a bunion on my right large toe that is making the toe progressively turn inward toward my other toes. I have been looking for a splint that would straighten the toe while sleeping. This kit contained the only device that looked like it was capable of straighten the toe with its lever action. The kit contained two such devices and they work equally well on either foot. Unlike other products that are designed for just the right or left foot, the devices in this kit work on either foot with no waste. The kit also contains other items that can keep the toes spread apart or from touching each other while wearing shoes and other applications.The splint is comfortable to wear while sleeping. It can be adjusted to fit most foot widths (my shoe size is mens 10) and has a padded area that fits between the big toe and adjacent toe. The fulcrum strap for the lever action goes across the bunion on the side of the foot and pads it as well. It is a well thought out design in my opinion. I am very pleased with this device and the other kit components.

These splints are very helpful and comforting. I love the fact that Dr Frederick sent out a video explaining how to use them, because when you first get them it can be a bit confusing. But the video cleared up all my questions. The one bit of advice I would add is this: at the beginning, put them on rather loose: don't try to pull your big toe out very much. Start with just a little pull. If you put them on too tight and try to get more pull at the beginning it might actually be uncomfortable or painful. So start with just a little bit of pull, rather loose. Then as your feet get used to them you might tighten them up a bit and get a little more pull. So now that I have got that sorted, I find them very comfortable to wear and sleep with, and my feet feel ready to go in the morning. It's still too early to tell whether they might improve the bunions, but for now I can say for sure that they feel better.

Love this bundle of gadgets for my pesky bunion. The silicone pieces are so comfortable and the brace is perfect for pulling the toe back in place. I like it so much that I ordered one for my mom that has similar problems.

These splints are absolutely perfect! Best ones I've come across by far! The strapping that wraps around the back of your foot doesn't just act as a normal support strap so the splint doesn't slide of your foot like all the other splints here on amazon. This one really wraps and stretches around the back of your foot, and then sticks onto the main part of the splint. This pulls your big toe even more straight with constant pressure giving so much more stronger support and constant pressure which really helps straighten your big toe. The great thing about it also is that it's not super tight and rather comfortable. You can really adjust these for your preference. The instructions that come with this kit are also great and easy to follow. These splints and accessories that come with the whole kit are just perfect!

I bought these bunion correctors because I have what's called a "traumatic bunion". I broke a chunk of the joint off where my big toe meets my foot which instantly created a traumatic bunion and is still in the healing process. The orthopedic doctor used an ungodly amount of tape to secure my joint and toe in the correct position, but the tape was causing more harm than good. We are trying to see if it will heal before considering surgery. I have been wearing this corrector since it arrived and it is so much more comfortable and holds my joint and toe in a place where it should be. I recommend it for anyone with a break like mine or a regular bunion.

Works better pushing your big toe compared to pulling them but cushion is minimal or non existent so just don’t tighten too much. Eventually your toe will straighten out in small increments. Hard to walk with but is socks friendly.Update: if you tighten too much or walk around on this thing it will start to dig into your skin. You might want to put a band-aid beneath where it rests on top of your foot.

I purchase the bunion corrector for my toe hallux valgus corrector and quickly received them. According to the seller's described to wear them and adjust the tightness. When I first started to wear this bunion corrector, I felt a bit uncomfortable, but according to the seller's suggestion, I started wearing this bunion corrector only 15 minutes and increase the wearing time until the toe get used to the bunion corrector. At present, I have been using it for a while and this bunion corrector helped me to corrector my hallux valgus in some degree. Every time when I put on it, I could obviously feel that the metal strip next to it stretched my toes, now I am used to wearing them, so I can wear them to sleep, the Velcro also make the bunion corrector wraps my feet firmly.
