Scan Sound 1-Bud Gold Earphone with Eartips

I listen to music at work and was getting sick of having one headphone in my ear while the other hung down and got caught on things. I'm glad they came with three sizes for the earbud, as I needed the smallest size for my ear. It took me a couple of minutes to figure out how it fit in my ear as I was used to the Apple headphones that sit inside your earlobe. Once I mastered the art of inserting the bud in my canal, it fit great and I am able to use it all day with no problems (although sometimes I switch ears when one starts to get irritated by the bud's constant presence). I am also able to quickly yank the bud out of my ear when someone needs to speak with me. I am not an audiophile, and the quality of the sound is sufficient for my use. I am very happy with my purchase.

I plug this into my clock radio so I can listen to the BBC at night without disturbing my husband. The extra length is great and prevents my pulling the radio off my night stand when if I fall asleep and turn over. The sound is a lot better than through those cheap ear buds with the thin wires and it lasts way longer since I'm not stressing the connection by pulling on it. Eventually the rubber covering wears out but they give you a replacement.

My job requires me to monitor the phones for incoming calls, but I sometimes like to watch instructional videos or listen to music to help me focus. Using normal earbuds means I only get half the sound and have an awkward cord dangling. This earphone allows me to have my cake and eat it too with all of the sound coming into a single earbud. The only difficulty I have is that most earbuds refuse to stay in my ears and these are no exception. As far as sound quality, my expectations were not very high, but they provide decent enough sound for what I'm looking for while working.

I've been using these for a few months now and I still love them. It makes listening to music more discrete at work since, with only one ear plugged, it does not appear that I've tuned-out the rest of the world. When I first used these I thought "eureka, this is it". Still, I wanted to wait a while before writing a review just to make sure that they are holding up and not irritating me in either physical and acoustical means. These aren't cheap but at least they adhere to the old adage that you get what you pay for. About to buy again.

Great idea, but physical cable sound is a drag! If a less rigid or noisy cable was used I would really like this product, but I have to adjust cable location to get rid of the sounds (not electrical) traveling along the cable to the bud, also can't seal the earbud while walking or the sound is worse.

I had this less than a month and use it occasionally at home (no rough use or tossing into bag for travel). The ear bud itself separated from the cord exposing the interior speaker and wiring. I snapped it back together, but it keeps happening, resulting in the soft portion of the earbud remaining in my ear, while the rest of the speaker and cord falls away to the floor if I move a certain way. I didn't save the packaging or I'd return it. Not sure how to claim 90-day warranty. Will have to go to the trouble of gluing it together, but for the price, I should't have to. Not worth $ spent. Sound is ok, but I use it to listen to sports-talk radio, so can't say how it is for music. There are many positive reviews, so maybe I just got a bad one.

Not Worth Buying. Sound comes out too muddy on Music, Movies AND t.v. Also this product is made not to last, kinda flimsy. I know it's not supposed to sound with good dynamics, but to be Very Bad. When using, it's hard to understand what people are saying on t.v. even without any background music being added. The earbud does have a good fit.

These are great for listening to podcasts etc. without losing the ability to hear conversations or traffic. I bought this to replace a similar product that wore out after months of use. It works well so far.
