Runs a little small, but if you have an average sized head - it’s a nice hat for keeping the sun off you on the windy days!

It’s a hat
What did I use this product for? You ask. It’s a hat. I used it as a hat. Since it was raining, I used it as a rain hat. It was very effective at keeping me dry. The only issue I have with it is that like most Frogg Togg items it is noisy.Fit is a bit snug but not uncomfortable. Breathablity is questionable, but I have never found a product listed as breathable that actually was.

Great hat
Love the hat. Bought it because the hood on my rain coat always falls in front of my face every time I move. This hat keeps me dry and the brim does not let any water down the neck of my rain coat when I’m working.

Perfect
I fold this up in my Frogg Toggs bag with the coat and pants. I have only needed it a few times but the brim is large enough to keep my upper half dry. I fold it into a pie and when I take it out to wear it, the shape is perfect to keep the rain off you. Its better material than my $60 set of Frogg Toggs. It will take some punishment for sure. I am not sure its worth the money as compared to the coat and pants, its much more expensive.

tight fit for big heads
I wear 7 5/8 in hats. This one is tight. You'd think that with a draw string it would be a bit bigger, allowing the wearer to adjust as needed. The shape, feel and color are great. I missed the return window, I'll keep it in my car for a rainy day. It'll do for a short wear time.

Very, very tight! Big heads do NOT buy!
My head is 23.5 inches around and I can barely pull the hat down on my head. The band in the hat is stretched to its absolute maximum and then some! It is VERY uncomfortable...I live in South Fl..I will keep it for our summer downpours...wearing it any more than 10 minutes or so would be painful!!

A good waterproof hat but the brim may be too wide for some wearers!
A good quality piece of light-weight, waterproof headwear ... a typical ‘boonie-style’ hat. Great for fishing.The hat can be tensioned to fit and the brim is wide; good in both sun and rain. Though unlikely to come off in very windy conditions, due to both the chin strap and adjustable head band, the brim can be troublesome in windy conditions, as it lacks the necessary rigidity to stop it flapping; this can be a nuisance!
