The media could not be loaded. Just had to share my thoughts on the Govee TV LED Backlights – they've been a real game-changer in my home entertainment setup!The setup was surprisingly easy. The adhesive is strong, and the instructions are straightforward. Not only do these backlights add a cool visual effect, but they also help reduce eye strain when I'm watching TV in a dark room.What I really love is the ability to customize the lighting. Using the Govee Home app, I can pick from a whole bunch of colors and even sync the lights with what's happening on my TV screen. It's made my viewing experience so much more immersive. Setting timers and creating custom scenes is a nice touch too.And when I don't want to use the app, the included remote control is super handy. I can change colors, adjust brightness, or just turn the lights on and off with ease.They seem well-made, sticking securely to my TV without any problems. The cable clips that come with them are a nice bonus for keeping everything neat and organized.If you're thinking about sprucing up your TV setup, the Govee TV LED Backlights are definitely worth considering. They offer a ton of customization, are easy to use, and really enhance the whole viewing experience. I'm quite impressed!

The quality of the LEDs are phenomenal, and I managed to stretch it across all four sides of a 55" TV. Although it's best for smaller TVs, you can center the top and bottom strips then run the sides a bit closer to the center of the TV rather than by the outside. There's an app to control the lights which has decent UX. It has a color wheel option, or set colors and patterns. The brightness is the only con, I feel like it could be brighter, and there is less LEDs than it seems. However, the light itself flows into one line rather than individual dots, which I feel like is rare for some light strips on the market.PROS:Easy app controlLimitless colorsEasy adhesion (has extra clips for holds but I didn't need them)Color is one solid line and not a bunch of dotsCONS:Better for smaller TVs, but can work for 55" or 60"Not as* bright as there's less lights on the strip itself

First, I’d like to say that the product I received was already opened by someone else before I received it. I’m guessing someone returned it and it was sent out by mistake as a “New” product without being properly checked first. The mounting screws that were supposed to be included per the instructions were missing from the mounting hardware package (which as torn open). Honestly, I wasn’t going to use the screws at all so I didn’t bother with the hassle of trying to return the product when everything else in the box was intact and in working order.Now, for the review of the product itself.Pros:-Easy to install. I did it by myself in less than 15 minutes.- It adds a fun pop of color to your evening/late night TV watching.- Would make an excellent night light in kid’s rooms or your own.- The price is reasonable compared with other LED light strip brands- The in-line remote is a nice touch to let others have basic control of the light strip functions without needing access to the app.- The app is easy to use. So easy, my 4 year old figured it out in about 20 seconds.Cons:- Even with access to the color wheel in the app, many of the colors look almost indistinguishable from each other when displayed by the light strip. So, saying that it’s capable of all these millions of colors is a bit inaccurate.- The paint color of your walls may affect the way the colors appear. Unless you have plain white walls, some colors may not appear the way you would like them to.- The light strip is too small to wrap all the way around larger TVs. We have a 58” TV and I was about to put 2 light sections across the top and one section going down each side. This means there’s virtually no light at the bottom of the TV. Some people might find that a bit frustrating as the light doesn’t exactly “frame” the TV, but for me I find that it doesn’t highlight the fact that we have some messy looking cables hanging down.- They include ONE tiny alcohol swab to clean the entire surface you plan on sticking the light strip to. Sorry, but 2 or 3 should be the minimum here.- The only way to get these lights to sync with sound is to leave the app open in microphone mode close enough to whatever sound you’re wanting it to sync with.Overall, my husband and I decided that we could have lived without these. But our little one really enjoys getting to pick the colors out when we sit down to watch TV as a family at night, so that makes it a “worth it” purchase in our opinion.

The media could not be loaded. Watching a movie in my small room looks a whole lot better lol. I have a 40’ inch TV and the lights were a perfect fit! I didn’t have to cut anything. If your tv has a usb entrance then you’re set! Before installing them I opened the box and checked them by plugging the lights to my portable power bank and they work great. The placement of them is gonna be to your liking depending where in the back of your tv you have the usb entrance. And to use the app just go on the App Store and look for “Govee Home” > add devise > top right there’s a Bluetooth icon, press on that. It’ll ask you to authorize them to use your Bluetooth, your devise will appear, press on it and you’ll be connected. When you turn on your tv, the lights will turn on with the tv. But when you turn off your tv, the lights don’t turn off, you manually turn them off or through the app. Which isn’t all that bad to be honest. Anyways, try it all y’all.

Easy to install on a 27” iMac. Works well! The strip is nicely designed to bend around corners without bending the strip itself. It comes with adhesive clips that allow you to hold the strips in place - I used them to hold the cable that connects to the controller to the back of the iMac so that I can reach behind the lower left side easily to turn the lights on/off, adjust the color, and the various levels of intensity. I have it plugged in to a USB hub (not the iMac) and it works perfectly well. You may be hesitant as to which size to get since most are listed as fitting many ranges of TVs - this one is perfect for the iMac 27". I leave the lights on so when you walk by the room, you see the glow - my wife LOVES it (so that's a great endorsement!).
