Beautiful!
I love this paper. If you want paint to sit on top or be able to lift color this isn't what you need, get a hot press or the molshine watercolor sketchbooks... but ohmy! It absorbs color and gives the most beautiful effects! Soft, durable cotton rag. Dont rub or try lifting though. It will ball up little pieces

Smooth khadi for mixed media
I have been wanting to try out khadi paper for a while. I chose the smooth paper, and it is just what I wanted, not completely smooth so that it provides aesthetic texture giving a slight vintage feel to paintings, but not completely NOT, so that you can do some detailed pen work. I have tried watercolours with this book and they are vibrant. However the 200gsm paper does not take alot of water easily. There is significant buckling (although this can be flattened once dry by weighting with a book). If you paint on one side, you can't use the other side of the page. If you are going to use watercolours on khadi paper, go for 300gsm.

Not good for watercolour
The paper is not good for watercolour, it doesn’t absorb water or paint. You have to really scrub with the brush to get the paper to accept any paint and it doesn’t allow for any watercolour effects. It is a nice weight and feels good quality so would be fine for drawing and sketching but not for painting or any wet media.
