NatureWise Maximum Care Time-Release Probiotics: High Potency Formula Comparable to 450 Billion Cfu, 30 Strains, 15x More Effective Than Capsules, Acid Resistant, Shelf

I chose the maximum care probiotics for many reasons. I have a neuroimmune illness that many believe might be ultimately caused by gut dysfunction. Whether it is caused by or just includes gut dysfunction, probiotics are a vital part of my treatment. I have been using a certain type that work well for me and the others I have tried have never worked as well. I am hesitant to try something new but i compared the probitoic strains in the brand i now use and this maximum care time release had every single one of them plus many more! Please see picture for comparison.I have only been trying these for one week so I do not feel I can comment on their effectiveness. I think a month will give me a better trail period to account for other ups and downs of illness. I will come back and adjust my review accordingly.I will share the reasons I chose to order the maximum care from this company. They ticked off all the right boxes for me.1. They are shelf stable. I do not mind keeping mine in the refrigerator but I feel these are safer being shipped.2. It contains 30 strains and 30 billion CFU. That's impressive.3. Wisebiotics delivery system - controlled release of live, active cultures over extended period of time. The company says this delivers 15 times more live cultures to the targeted destination4. Naturewise donates nutrients to a child or mother in need for every purchase. I like to support companies that do good in this way.5. Naturewise sources ingredients responsibly, using recycled packaging, and renewable energy.6. I did purchase these when first released at the discounted price open to everyone with the special that came with ebooks, etc. However, the current price is very reasonable and if I find this beneficial I will continue to purchase. Technically, I was supposed to receive a free bottle of maximum care as part of the introductory bundle but I received the women's care instead. I will continue to buy and use this. I am attempting to alternate with the daily care probiotic from the same company to find just the right dose for me.

I have had periods of high stress over the last few years and noticed that I would constantly get colds or the flu and/or cold sores (which previously I might get every 10 years or so). My doctor told me that most of the immune system lies within the gut, so obviously if one's gut health is not at an optimum level, one is more prone to getting sick. I then began using probiotics and noticed a great difference in my immune health. Thanks to NatureWise, I was able to try their high-quality product for free. I particularly enjoy that it is shelf stable (the brand I had been previously using had to be refrigerated...which meant that I would occasionally forget to take it).Many thanks to NatureWise!

This is a review for the new probiotics from Naturewise. I ordered the Time Release Probiotics Maximum Care during their introductory offer period and frankly, I'm writing this review because people who ordered during the introduction can receive a free bottle by sending in a review. Having said that, I may not even receive the free bottle as they may feel this isn't what they wanted in a review. But, anything else would be a lie and since I often rely on reviews, I don't feel comfortable not getting that out of the way first.As to the product itself, probiotics are generally not something that is going to give immediate, noticeable effects. I started taking probiotics long before just about anyone else. They weren't being touted on the labels of yogurt or in the plethora of other products and I was promoting them to friends and family, again, long before most folks had heard of them. I knew early on that there were huge differences in the various ones available (not nearly as many brands as there are now), mainly in the various strains of bacteria but more importantly, how many of the stated millions or billions of bacteria would actually be available and still viable for your body to actually benefit from. For those who already know a bit about probiotics, this will be old news but a simple explanation is this: a manufacturer will state how many bacteria each dose contains at time of manufacturing. This is a small part of the equation because the dose could contain considerably less by the time you buy the product and even more crucial is how many of those surviving bacteria can then make it through your stomach and still be viable when they get further along in your digestive tract where they can actually provide the benefits they are being taken for.Regarding this brand, I have only their word for it as to their product and would love to see them reviewed by an outside testing source as, if what they are stating is true, these are one of the absolute best values and brands available. [...]Meanwhile, as you can see if you compare other brands as shown in those tests, you'll see that Naturewise has taken all the important things into consideration and you can't go wrong with these if indeed, Naturewise is right about their claims for this product.

Did my research on different brands of probiotics before deciding on these! These always end up as #1 for me on overall value, even several years later.I've read a couple of books on the microbiome (I highly recommend 10% Human) and the biggest takeaway is that it's healthiest to have as diverse a microbiome as possible, and to make sure your probiotics actually make it to your gut where they can have the most positive impact. NatureWise's slow-release capsule ensures that most of the microbes survive stomach acids and make it to your gut (unlike many other probiotics out there -- don't buy any "vegetable" capsules because these will dissolve too quickly).With 30 strains, this brand has the most strains of bacteria I have found so far: it even beats some of the very expensive brands. Those included are also reputed to be good for human health, including strengthening the immune system, reducing inflammation, and brain health. They provide a great balance of reputable Lactobacillus and Bifidobacteria strains for overall health. If you are looking for specific health benefits, e.g. brain health or eczema relief, I recommend researching which bacteria strains you'd like to have as part of your go-to probiotic blend.I especially like that this brand includes B. Infantis, which to me is like a "star bacteria" due to the many health benefits science has found for them: it has been found to improve overall health, support immune system health, stomach health, brain health, and protects gut against unwanted bacteria (keeps the bad guys out!).You may find these at a better price on the seller's website, which often has 10% to 20% discounts. They offer free shipping, too. For a more affordable option than the Maximum Care, I recommend the Daily Care variation by this same company (same probiotic formula/30 strains but it includes less bacteria and more capsules).I hope you found this review helpful!
