Great little light - 2 modes - very dim or very bright
Saw this on a YouTube channel and thought it looked too good to be true... A small light that is rechargeable, can be used very dim for when getting up in the dark and not wanting to wake others, or can be turned to full brightness and be a useful torch in dark country paths. It does both - it does it really well, lights up the paths well enough when walking in pitch dark, and can be used in dim mode for that as well, especially once eyes have become acclimatised to the dark. Really really small, and well worth having with you at all times, as can be used to light up cupboards under the stairs etc.Micro USB (not USB C) is the only real downside to this, I think there is a newer model that has USB C though. So check which version you are getting if you want USB C.Very happy with the performance of this light and the build quality is exceptional.

Surprisingly bright little light
Made of high grade aluminium with a black anodised finish this little flashlight is very nicely built, feels sturdy and has a very useable light pattern with a good spread of light and a slightly brighter hotspot in the centre. This is such a nice little light to have on your keychain and surprisingly bright considering its tiny size. It's so simple to operate... a half twist of the base gives you a low light and a further twist gives the high light. Couldn't be easier and no buttons to find in the dark.Twisting the end in the opposite direction pops open the centre section where the USB charging port is located complete with charging indicator LED. This is SUCH a nice, simple little design and has been permanently attached to my keys since it arrived.Useful, practical and simple to operate with a decent amount of light output for it's size. Simples!

A bright torch, always with you when it matters
I needed a small, light and bright torch, for nearby paths without street illumination; after some extensive browsing I found this item. This torch is so good that I bought a second one and will shortly by a third one so that we àll have one in our pockets. The torch is very small and very lightweight, it can be fitted to any keyring and be carried with no effort. It can be switched on by twisting the body and it has two levels of brightness. The first level is a kind of candle light, but rotate the control a bit further and the light shines much brighter, certainly brighter than I could expect from such small item. Recharging it is easy via a USB cable, just plug it in for a while to top it up. I haven't run any tests such as fully discharging it to check how long it lasts, but it certainly lasts well more than the 20 minutes it takes to walk home e in the dark. Recharging it is easy as I said above and the result is a very useful light, always ready when it matters.

Very competent little unit.
Bought this little fellow in June 2022, and it has been on my keyring every single day since then. A keychain is a pretty hostile environment for any torch, and after 15 months of continuous battering it looks rather sorry for itself. I would guess that about 25% of the finish has worn away, but that is only to be expected and it is not a criticism of Olight's workmanship. It still works perfectly though, even after having been accidentally dropped several times on hard floor tiles, which speaks volumes about its durability. Make no mistake about it, this is one tough little hombré. And it is so light that you don't even notice it's there. The reason I purchased this product is that it uses twist-cap operation, which is simple to use, and almost impervious to accidental activation. Tail-cap switches and side buttons are useless on keychain and pocket torches in my opinion; it doesn't matter how secure the lockout mechanism or how meticulous you are about using it, pockets, keyrings and suitcases always manage to defeat them, and I've lost count of the number of times I've found these things switched on when they shouldn't have been. With the EOS it has happened just once, but that was after a heavy session down at the pub, so the jury is still out whether it was mechanical or human failure! Either way, the user interface definitely gets a thumbs-up from me.In my opinion Olight have judged the light levels just right considering the purpose of this unit: the low setting of 5 lumens gives a pleasing soft beam that is perfectly adequate for locating keyholes and for finding your way around unlit buildings at night; the high setting of 150 lumens is surprisingly bright, and undoubtedly useful in emergencies. The beam is well shaped and clearly defined - always the hallmark of a competent maker like Olight. At first glance runtimes are not stellar (6 hours on low and about 15 minutes on high), but it has never been a problem and the battery has never died on me. There is no appreciable parasitic drain, and the unit holds its charge even if it is not used for a week or two.The only downside is that the battery is not removable, but on such a small device this is understandable. Considering the price, its toughness, ease of use, lack of weight and size, I would say this is a very good buy for its intended purpose. Olight have now upgraded it to a model with 180 lumens and 12 hours of life on the low setting, which is a big improvement and should reassure those put off by the short runtimes of the previous model. It also shows how rapidly this sector is developing, and it will be interesting to see what kind of output levels and runtimes will be possible with these tiny torches in a few years.

Lovely little torch!
Perfect for EDC - attached to my keyring, fits in my pocket and I barely know it's there. Have to be careful as it's quite easy to turn it on by mistake while it's in your pocket - just make sure the screw down top is unscrewed enough not to turn itself on accidentally. Not super bright on the normal setting but bright enough for basic stuff. The bright setting is great (and very bright) but runs the battery down super fast. All round an excellent little torch and I'm glad I bought it.

Unexpectedly small and very bright
It was hard to tell from the photo what size it was. But when it arrived it was shorter than a little finger. And the beam was so bright that it was impossible to stand it with your eyes. A very good means of protection for women and children.
