Love the smallness for finer details. I use these with my Prisma colored pencils and Gamsol. Works beautifully.

These are easy to use. They sharpen easily and absorb the Gamasol for use with color pencils to blend. I would like to see packages of one size.

In response to a previous review, these are indeed very small...just the way they are supposed to be. That is why they are coded #1. They are specially designed for neatly blending very, very small spaces. Number 2's are a bit larger. Numbers 3 and 4 are quite large. And so, they are not a rip-off at all. The codes fit the sizes; you simply have to read descriptions very carefully before you purchase. These are high quality blending stumps, no matter what size you chose.

I use this for blending in my card making projects.

If you want to use these with oil for blending, they do not work well.
