Discontinued Dolphin Triton PS Plus Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner with Universal Caddy and Classic Caddy Cover - Ideal for In-Ground Swimming Pools up to 50 Feet

I had been using the Polaris for 21 years in the pool. It did a good job of picking up debris (especially leaves) but did not clean algae or hard deposits. Put the Triton in the pool last week after the initial setup and it went to town scrubbing the bottom, sides, and waterline. It's going to take time to get the hard deposits up but I have faith. The phone app was a breeze to setup. The instructions said to scan the qr code but it found the robot before I could even scan. I can set cleaning mode, schedule, perform a manual drive, put on visual effects on the Triton (I guess that's a thing), and the "Home" selection tells me how long the unit has to go for cleaning. I'm very impressed with the entire unit and it's operation. It may look a bit spendy but if you own a pool, it's well worth the money (imo).

Cleans very well, easy interface, and very quick water drain when pulled out of the pool. Our liner has one or two small ripples at the bottom and the little scrubbing flaps did a great job. Well worth the money.

We unboxed the cleaner today and followed the very brief instructions: connected to the WiFi, lowered the cleaner into the pool. It worked great for all of 6 seconds, then a red light came on and it stopped. We can restart it each time but it still only works for 6 seconds each time (equivalent to cleaning 1% of pool). There are no instructions for how to troubleshoot so we looked at some you tube videos and tried using WiFi & Bluetooth, disconnecting & reconnecting the power, we checked the basket and the impeller, we tried using both the manual and program setting, sadly to no avail. It’s so disappointing for such a big ticket item and now we look at other bad reviews seems and it seems like we aren’t the only people to have this issue 😞

Have 2 of these on 2 different homes and love the way I can trigger a start over the phone. The schedule functionality is really good. Cleaning is no hassle and the thin or thick filters gives you options depending on how dirty is your pool. Expensive but good. The one complaint is that the smart phone functionality is disabled on the less expensive model. Really crappy move and I'm taking a star out of the review for it. Very greedy.

For the past 7 years I owned 2 Shark pool cleaner. First one was awesome, we called it Wally, after 5 years of continuous use needed replacement. It was a work horse. We ordered a second one, the model style changed, though it said is the same, was not performing the same. Long story short I was looking for another good vacuum, and found Triton PSPlus. I had no trouble installing it, super easy, worked right out of the box. App easy to use, though I thought it had a feature to recall robot to the edge of to pool for easy pick up. Maybe not available for this style, only for the most expensive one. However I have been using it for one week with no issues. It came in with fine mesh filters, though I wished it also came with micro filters. Micro filters are super expensive around 100 bucks. I also purchased the package with the stand and we love it.I was worried reading all the negative reviews, but I took a chance and I am super happy. I will come back for another review in a month to see if any changes. I would definitely recommend.

So I have had this for a while, and want to make some comments, so you will know what you are getting. First you better have a good wifi network, if you are buying for the wifi feature. Which, when it works is actually pretty nice. I can start it from my phone and I don't have to go out and hit the button. But, the wifi is problematic, and you will probably need a wifi extender. I haven't done that, just assuming it would help, even though the signal strength is good all the way to the unit. Also, it does hang up on the steps, or sits if you have them. That is a hassle! So, what I did to help me feel better about it hanging up all the time, is I named it "Stupid" so when I use the voice commands to start it, it will tells me "Stupid has received your command" I do like the extra fine filters inside. It picks up far more than any of the other units, I have had. That's a plus. Cleaning the basket is easier than any other unit I have had. So I would rate it a 8, because overall it does a good job. Good luck.....Another entry, you can't get parts for it, and the company is of no help. So consider this when buying. Bought mine in 2021 and now died. Can't get parts, and the parts I did find with another company won't ship until January. So spending a lot of money on a throw away product!

This pool cleaner is the best, Amazing! I have an older pool with an older finish and the bad thing is that it took some of the finish off while cleaning the pool. But it picks up leaves, dirt, and small pebbles with ease. Also, you do need the stand when you take it out of the pool or you'll ruin the rubber tracks/wheels on it. It was worth every penny. I don't have to vacuum or brush the pool. Maybe a little light skimming. This vacuum even cleans the pool title on top of the water and does a great job at it, Amazing! I highly recommend this product!

This is the best cleaner I've had after owning 2 other brands. The remote works fine, I just have to learn how to work with it more.
