This product was used by a student in the Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP). The experiment was conducted by a then 10th grade student. She wanted to test the pulse of students after drinking water and gatorade. The Heart Monitor worked very well. She was able to obtain a heart rate easliy using this instrument.
