Thoroughly Impressed for the Price!
I just received my unit, so haven't had too long with it yet. I must say I'm very impressed with it overall. The head unit came with all of the adapters needed for Plug and Play installation in my 2011 Jetta Sportwagen. Literally took me 90 seconds to install it since I already had the old radio out.All the steering wheel controls work perfectly, and the reverse camera input takes over correctly when you put the car in reverse. . .even though I haven't installed the rear camera yet.There are a few little things that you can tell this is a cheaper unit, but nothing I can't live with. Some of the setting options could be a bit better / more polished. Such as I haven't been able to find how to change the Car Info units from metric to US. I also haven't been able to pair my phone via BT yet, but it did work with my wife's phone. Only other thing is radio reception is poor, but I only have 1 of the 3 antennas in the car hooked up to it so far. . . Should be fine once I hook them all up properly.Sound quality seems pretty good as well. I love that it looks completely original in the car. With the bezel back on no one would be able to tell this wasn't the factory radio.If you're looking for an inexpensive replacement for the dead OE radio in your VW this is a great choice.
