We bought these and returned them. While they do work, removing the ice is hard, cleaning them is a bit hard. The lids don't fit real well and spilling the water when placing them in the freezer is common.

I bought this item to make waxy melts. Works great. Easy to remove wax without breaking off.

I like these ice cube trays, yet I wish I had received BOTH lids. I only received one lid.You can resolve issues others have mentioned by doing the following:1. PROBLEM: Trays are floppy.SOLUTION: Use a plate, dish, or tray you are good with keeping in your freezer for these trays to set upon whilst you move them to and from your freezer and during filling.2. PROBLEM: Filling is tricky and water goes everywhere!SOLUTION: Use a plastic or glass measuring or non measuring cup or pitcher to fill first then fill your trays. You are wanting anything that has the pour spout as part of its opening. I used a 2-cup plastic measuring cup that has a handle, easy and $1 buck at DollarTree.I hope this helps!If you found anything helpful, please up vote!

I hate coffee shops, crowded, super expensive and all, and the coffee isn't all that good. I make Frappe's at home by pre brewing my own flavored coffees, and freezing them into cubes. I needed small cubes so I could, well fit enough into the blender to make it work. These are perfect. They pop out super easy, chuck it in the dishwasher and bam they are clean. Perfect for what I was looking for!

It is very challenging to remove the ice cubes. I have watched all of the videos and I just end up popping them out one by one. I have had them too long to return them but will be getting a traditional set of ice cube trays.

The ice cubes are kinda smaller than expected and the lids are pretty much useless since they don't fit snug. I specifically bought this one because it had lids and wanted to keep the freezer smell away from the ice but these lids do not prevent that. Other than that, due to the small size, ice forms quickly which is good.

I really like the concept of these mini ice cube trays with cover. The cover is what sold me. I also like the size and shape of the cubes. My one issue is how difficult the cubes are to remove. It takes pushing them out which I'm afraid will eventually cause tray to get holes in them? Overall, I'm happy with them. DHeat

While the flexibility and efficient use of space is appreciated, I, my family and even my home health aides have all struggled to quickly and evidently empty the trays. Manipulating the trays as in the images does remove some of the ice, but the majority requires individual pressure from the back at the minimum.I suppose some measure of rigidity is necessity for quick removal.
