Reef Women's Escape Lux

Let me start off by saying this review does not pertain to the product...I love REEF ESCAPE LUX sandals and was very happy I was able to find them in my size on Amazon. However, the sandals I received (today) left a lot to be desired. Only the right sandal was new. The left one was really faded and had obviously been enjoyed by someone else. Some of grooves on the bottom (where the ball of the foot would hit) were worn. I could also make out the faint outline of toes on the foot bed! It was apparent that someone had tried to recondition it and pass it off as new. I am so disgusted--I shouldn't have to handle someone else's foot funk! Unfortunately, the pictures are not very good and barely show the obvious difference between the right and left sandal. Thanks, AMAZING ONLINE DEALS USA. Now I have to use my time to reorder from another seller and return the used product that was sold to me as new.

At first these flip flops were great and I couldn’t be happier! My last pair of Reefs lasted 6 years so I obviously kept with the brand for the quality. They were comfortable and I was looking forward to these Reef ones being more compatible when wet as my last which had gotten slippery.However on the second day of having them I went to the pool and the flip flops were in the sun for an hour while I was in the pool. When I came out the edges of the flip flops had all curled up (almost like a ball of socks) and when I put them in I’d found they had shrunk! A lot! My toes now hang off the sides and front and my heel hangs off the back. I tried soaking them in cold water to see if I could reverse the shrinking but to no avail! They are slightly less curved now but the size is still shrunken. Pic is after soaking in cold water. How are flip flops not expected to be left out in the sun? Very disappointed!

I bought these flip flops four months ago, so I've had enough time to try them out. I am a size 5 on the smaller side of things (almost a 4.5), and as you can see in the photo, they fit very nicely. So if you are a full size 5, you might consider moving up a size. Other reviews have mentioned that these flip flops are narrow, and I can confirm this to be the case. Luckily, for me this hasn't been an issue. They are comfortable enough, although I must add that I only wear them inside and do not walk any substantial distance in them. Colorwise I like them, but of course, the color is not quite the same as displayed on my monitor when I purchased them. In reality they are not as bright and richly colored as pictured. In all, I am very satisfied with this product. They do the job exactly as I hoped they would.

It fit as expected but I returned it already because I wasn't happy with the color it wasn't as dark as I expected it to be so I'm going to only give it to maybe three stars

I love REEF brand, most of their sandals have arch support, which means you can walk comfortably in them for hours. I have about 5 pairs, in Southern California I wear sandals 80% of the time. The Escape Lux is very flat (with support) and rubbery (not the velvety soles like “Ginger”). Will definitely buy another pair in the future.

I’v bought 4 pair over a few summers, A couple are same company, just a different style flip flop. I love them. I use for yard work and casual wear. Comfortable on my feet ( to me), than others I’ve bought. I like the colors to. Thank you Reef Co.!

These are Reef's version of Havaianas, and they are much lighter weight than Havaianas, and more sturdy. (Have not broken these Reefs hiking in the Grand Canyon, getting flat-tired by tons of people at Disneyland, and gardening. [Havaianas broke within two months just walking around in them.] I bought these in place of the Reef Ginger Slim which is no longer made. They are much uglier than the Ginger Slim but I like the narrow width.

I bought these flip flops because they actually have an arch. I wore them on and off for a couple summer months last summer when I bought them. The not all in fall and winter. I just started wearing them again and they broke. Great flip flop but not worth $26.00 for the little use i got out of them. Amazon will not refund or replace or discount.

Great value, bought as a simple addition to a baby shower hamper with the thought of being used in the hospital 😊

As described, however I am usually size 5 ordered a size 6 and glad I did as they fit perfectly. Lovely stylish flip flops and very comfy.

After years of wearing Hawaianas (and being v happy with them) I found these, even more comfy, alternatives. I was looking for something pvc free, but these also have the added benefit of a moulded foot arch making them stay on easier and adding the comfort factor.

Awesome product

At 7 month mark the strap broke. :-( The straps were looser than my original pair, bought locally. This made them uncomfortable but wearable so I kept them. First time buying these online. They were ok while they lasted, just disappointed with poor quality after only occasional wear.
