This bottle is exactly what it says it is. A bottle fitted with a lid to attach to an at home oxygen machine. Sadly, for the price you would expect them to last longer. The side of the bottle developes a crack after two weeks of use even though they are to be for high flow. The machine is set to 4 lpm. It also is a slightly smaller bottle than other companies sell. These require water refill daily or they empty out. That being said, this humidity bottle does what it is intended to do.

Works as described. I’m very pleased with this product.

A little sturdier and less fragile than cheaper bottles. (I typically break a cheap bottle every couple of weeks: screwing the top on casually often creates a crack in the side of the cheap bottles and then the leak! Usually you break your last cheap bottle on a weekend when you can't get a replacement from your service.)

The difference with this and without this is amazing. If you need O2 or support someone who does, they need the water (or nasal passages get dry and swollen...very painful and lasts hours). Adding sterilized/filtered water with 9-10% sodium chloride (salt), will help lung function.Please note: You will feel like you are drowning after the water backups in the tube (this is normal and not a product flaw)...and it can start mold, mildew and allow bacteria to go straight into lungs. Believe me, lived through it. So, do yourself a favor and also buy the 'Disposable Oxygen in-Line Water Traps for Condensation Collection in O2 Tubing' (they are really cheep) and you will be a happy-camper!

I've been using these bottles for years now, and never really had any issues. I usually dont replace them like they should and still never had any issues... This last time i replaced them they did not even make it 1 month. I use 2 oxygen machines and both bottles did the same thing withen one week of each other.Around week 3 of these new bottles i installed one of the bottles started blowing air out of the poppet valve that is built into the lid. And i had to replace that bottle, just a few days later the other machine started doing the same. I've replaced both bottles now... Maybe i got a bad batch or something. Or some other weird issue. But im using a different brand bottle now, that i've never really been happy with until i can get replacements. (Going to give this brand another go, hopefully better results this time)
